Stands before the Dove, the Spirit of Love;
the Bride knows her place and where.
For bathed in blood; it's Grace's flood;
stands on God's peace and care.
She's been made clean, though once so mean;
her worth is found in the Groom.
She walks in His light; His strength her might;
her hope is seeing Him soon.
She's bathed in white, having been made right,
having been loved by the Groom.
She's born above, anointed thereof;
Salvation is a great wide room.
Praising the Lord, she knows she's adored;
great things are coming her way.
She reads His Bible; hated by the Rival;
so she draws near to pray.
Oh, love the Bride of Christ so right,
but go not near to kiss her.
Her lips are His, the wine so lithe
she'll leave and the world won't miss her.
“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” ~ Ephesians 5:31-32
