Man is born in the state of sin,
for Adam brought him there.
His heart is now a twisted din;
for God he has no care.
It is so far away from Him
though his lips are near.
His state of mind from acts of sin
is full of lust and fear.
His spirit dead and far from God
he cannot save himself.
His foundation is so pride-shod
his destiny is hell.
For this reason, God in love,
His Son born in this world,
to show the way, to be born above;
whoever, their sins are hurled.
They could know His Father's mercy,
and here, would know the King.
Though one might be so unworthy,
they'd have cause to sing.
But for a gift eternally rich
infinite cost had to be paid.
The Son would be raised that man could sit;
on a cross He was made dead.
Yet He was Life, and so He rose,
three days after His death.
Men would gain, as glory glowed,
receiving Jesus' breath.
We are far too poor to buy,
while He is too rich to sell.
So He gives from places high,
that we'd be free from hell.
Man will die twice, if born once;
he must be born again.
If born twice, he'll die once,
not dying in his sin.
It begins with belief in His promise,
then birthed through his confession*.
Receive as Lord, this Man, Jesus;
come into His salvation.
And you will know as you are known,
relating as child of the Father.
His way in you will be grown,
the Model, Jesus, your Brother.
So Life is yours, a gift to receive,
the choice is in your hand.
Hear the Word and believe,
and be born again.
Please note the theme involved in the word "Born".
"Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time." ~ 1 Corinthians 15:1-8
