Uniquely Made, Divinely Feminine

The biblical perspective shows examples of women who poses and champion qualities of faith and fortitude, purity and contentment, femininity and grace, enthusiasm and industry, home and hospitality, joy and friendship, submission and obedience, along with an unmistakable aroma of love. These qualities of biblical femininity are the fruit of a close intimate relationship with Jesus Christ that unlock the secrets to every womanís true identity.
Ladies who find themselves struggling with questions or doubts about who they were born to be, their personal value, the plan for their lives or that nagging sense of empty loneliness need look no further than to Jesus Christ for all of these answers. Although some have said that their lives here on this earth do not come with instruction manuals that could be an arguably false statement since we were all provided with Godís instruction for our lives, in the pages of the Holy Bible. Applying these teachings to a womanís life can set one free from the bondage's of the world and heal wounded hearts along the way to truly fulfilling their God given purpose for their life.
Most young women want to be part of something grand, there is something fierce in the heart of the woman that senses that they have a vital role to play. Even women have a specific race that God has set before them to run. Although this race may take shape in a somewhat different way than that of a maleís, the desire to fulfill this purpose for the female is just as strong. The challenge of determining the meaning of true biblical femininity is not unique to this generation. Proverbs 31:10 alludes to the fact that even in biblical times following the God given path to fulfilling a truly feminine life was difficult at best.
As women search for their own identities as Godly women in todayís world, women should not give into the self-centered culture around them, but should explore the freedom, joy and peace in doing what God has planned for their lives. The foundation of this process is getting really close to God through an intimate personal relationship with Jesus. This intimate relationship is built on a healthy prayer life as much as it is built on a healthy fear of God and the willingness to take oneís thoughts captive to his will. A ladies attitude towards sin and repentance and oneís ability to quietly listen for heavenly direction become stronger as a woman grows closer to her divine creator.
Women are called to this closeness with God, not only because of the great impact it will have in her own life but also because women have a great ability to influence others. The first example of this is seen in the book of Genesis with the disobedience of Eve and her ability to influence the choice that was made by Adam. The failure of women to lead a biblically feminine lifestyle can produce devastating results.
As the choice is made to follow this direction in oneís life, nearly the entire chapter of Proverbs 31 can be used as a tool that describes the practices of a virtuous woman. A Christian woman who proudly wears the badge of femininity given to her by God the father must resolve to go against the tide and to not be robbed of the uniqueness designed for her life. She must always return to Godís design and definition of womanhood and stand firmly for what she believes based on the eternal truths written out for her. Women were never biblically intended to take over the roles of their male counter parts, nor were they intended to carve out a piece of the biblically masculine lifestyle as their own. Although society may shove a woman in that direction, a lady choosing to follow the biblically feminine lifestyle is called to surrender her dreams to God and leave the results up to him.
Of course it feels risky, given the fact that women are now living after the Fall, most situations feel like a test of strength. But the biblically feminine woman needs to remember 1Peter 3:6 ďDo not give way to fear.Ē As one increasingly becomes a woman of substance through deepening her relationship with the Lord and following the biblical plan laid out for womanhood, she finds that her heart grows in its capacity to love and be loved, to desire and to live, because her heart is enlarged by Jesus.
Women who embrace their biblical femininity and choose to live the lifestyle of the Godly woman get to know and believe in God, they enjoy Godís presence, find satisfaction in him, experience Godís peace and understand that he has a divine purpose for their lives. In Romans 6:16 it is taught that mastering life and destiny without Godly intervention is simply impossible. God did not design people to be the boss of their lives; the godly woman has the advantage of living in the safety of Godís careful rule. This close intimate relationship with the divine creator gives the godly woman a sense of fulfillment, acceptance, value, purpose and belonging that cannot be matched by any other relationship she will ever experience in her lifetime on the earth. The Godly woman has learned to walk with God instead of asking God to walk with her , it is by following instead of trying to take the lead in their biblically feminine lives that Godly women are able to experience their true freedom in Christ.
Examples of Godís respect and gentle care for women, even in the midst of oppressive earthly cultures, can be easily found in the Bible. These examples of Jesus Christís careful redirection of the Samaritan woman, acceptance of Mary Magdalene, and the unnamed woman he stopped from being stoned show the value that God has put on the female from the beginning of time. Jesus Christ does not bow to earthly traditions of that time by not speaking to these women directly, he does not treat them with any less respect or dignity than the males in this discipleship, instead he takes the time and makes the effort to encourage these women to reach their full potential; potential given to them by God the father. All women are born with this same potential. The biblically feminine woman knows she has it and accepts that to reach it she will have to follow Godís direction.
It is often along this path that God has designed, that the godly woman finds herself healing from past hurts imposed on her by a wicked world. As the biblically feminine woman begins to find her value and purpose in Jesus Christ and thru Godís promises in the Bible she also tends to find healing for the issues of fear, rejection, worthlessness, shame, insecurity, defilement, and hopelessness . A woman who is healthy in Christ also has the ability to display his presence in her life and live out his example to the rest of the world. Romans 12:2 states that all people can be transformed through this personal relationship with Christ. This is truly amazing news for the godly woman who no longer has to be subject to the harsh ways of the world nor the oppression of her past mistakes and hurts.
Thus the biblicaly feminine woman is free to experience the joy of a lifestyle custom made for her by God, himself. She is able to live with purpose and direction by simply asking God for answers and listening for his response. She is secure and comfortable in his provision for her walk and content in every season of her life knowing that she is treasured by God the Father.
