Here is a letter I found that I wrote after moving from Union City, CA to Fremont, Ca. I was twelve years old. My aunt and uncle purchased a larger nicer home during my seventh grade year. This was a time to make new friends at a new school. We still had our dog Samantha.I attended William Hopkins Junior High located not far from a high school as I recall. Seems I did well at this school except in math. I never much cared for math but especially in seventh grade. It began to be more difficult.

brian and ronnie hello. I've
been doing well in my school
work. I wrote elvada a letter
also. Sorry I don't write more
ask Mother if she got my
letter. Then when you write a
letter to me tell me if she
got it. I'am on a basketball
team at a high school. We
play on Saturdays. I'ts a
lot of fun. I'am in my bed-
room right now at school in
Electricity I've made about
4 projects I got A's on all them
except for one. I almost done
with my last project. Grand
ma guess what? I'am coming
down to stay with you during

the four day holiday

and that I hope she gets
mary back. when I come
down I'll visit with you.
It's about 8:10 at night I
have to go to bed at 9:00
so I still have 50 minutes

Grandma I've got $550. cents
for my allowence. I'am putting
some in the bank. The rest
I'am saviing to buy a stop
watch. Jeri and I have been
jogging around the park and
also samatha. If I buy
my stop watch I'll bring
it down. well it's getting late
I'll see you when I cojme down
