When I was ten I ran fast. I could beat everyone
in my class. Being a girl in the 1950's this was
no small feat. The children looked at me funny.
Some called me names because I could run fast and
I was fat and wore glasses. I am not going to
mention my last name. This gave them fuel to ridicule me. So I stopped running fast.
I felt defeated on so many levels. I had a poet's heart and a silly hear at that. I had
stopped so much of my laughter because of the looks and the words. I should never let anyone stop me from running Fast!
God loves us so much. He does not want us to feel
defeated. Let God's will be done in life. Don't
ever let people or circumstances have so much power over you that you never have the life God
intended for you to have. RUN FAST!!!!
Remain in His Love (John 15:9)
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the
Lord, for He has been good to me. (Ps.13:5,6)
