IT WAS THE HOLY FIRE THAT DAY
( Acts 2:1-4 )

It was the Holy fire that day
On that Pentecost birthday
It was the Holy fire that day
Heavens winds did made way
It was the Holy fire that day
The cloven tongues did lay
It was the Holy fire that day
When the Spirit had His way
It was the Holy fire that day
The comforter would stay
It was the Holy fire that day
Blessing given in the way
It was the holy fire that day
Evil sin would all flee away
It was the Holy fire that day
Many believed and did pray
It was the Holy fire that day
To the Spirit they did obey
It was the Holy fire that day

Jesus told his disciples, on many occasions, that when He fulfilled His duty ( 1 Cor 15:3-4 ) He would not leave them alone but would send the Comforter, which was the Holy Spirit.( John 14:15-17 ) ( John 14:25-26 ) ( John 15:26 ) ( John 16;7-8 ) ( John 16:13-15 ) ( Acts 2:33 )

At Pentecost, the disciples received " Holy" boldness. ( Acts 1:8 ) ( Acts 4:31) This boldness instantly transferred into the powerful preaching that saw thousands come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. ( Acts 2:41 )

This same experience is available today, to those who believe. ( Isaiah 11:2 ) ( Mark 3:11 ) ( Luke 11:13 ) When a person accepts Jesus Christ , the promised Holy Spirit is also given. ( 2 Timothy 1:14 ) However, one must covet the Spirit, by asking that the Spirit take control of their life. ( Romans 15:13 ) ( 1 Cor 6:11 ) ( 1 Cor 6:19 )

As I understand, I will not receive the Holy Spirit in my life until I am saved, you might ask. So, how do I except Jesus ? It's as simple as two words, FAITH and GRACE. Having faith that Jesus died for your sins.( Isaiah 53:5 ) ( John 3:16) ( 1 Cor 15:1-5 ) ( Romans 4:25 ) ( Romans 5:2 ) And excepting God's free grace ( Ephesians 2:8-9 ). ( Hebrews 4:16 ) ( John 1:14 ) ( Romans 3:20-24)

However, you must pray, talk to Jesus, and tell Him you believe He did die for your sins and that you want Him to come into your life and save you. If you have done this, get hold of a good reference Bible, and start attending a good Bible believing church.
