One day it will all come to an end
I will fade into the sunset
Stealthily and unnoticed
No traces left behind.
There will be no more pain
No sorrow languishing in the heart
My name will be lost in infinite space
No remembrance from the earth.
One day I will fly into the sunset
Meld with the colors in the sky
Forgotten in the milieu of time
Too far away for my voice to be heard.
It does not matter now on earth
Whether life has a moment of joy to spare for me
If my love is welcomed by others or not
If my heart is able to accomplish all that it yearns to do.
My final goal is Heaven
This is what I have to look forward to
Return to the Creator who made me
Know that I belong back to Him only.
My wish that the days which follow thereafter
Are happy ones for those on earth
To complete my own happiness in theirs
When I gaze from the sunset streaked sky above.
