Ah! There she stood the essence of beauty
The picture of health and always capable in her duties
But enter the serpent with his wiles and charm
He promised the choice would surely bring her no harm
So now she asks herself, what more could I receive?
I have everything I could want, what more do I need?
But the serpent was persistent and continued to present his case
I must convince her to partake and destroy the human race
So once again he lifted his voice, “Wisdom will be yours”
So much you will have until it spills out of your pours
Wow! Says the woman it seems so hard to resist
Yes, Yes, I will partake since you insist
The man stood by and did nothing to defend his wife
Not realizing his apathy would cost them their life
So now in Adam we all die
All due to a well packaged and dressed up lie
Oh! How beautiful that the God- Man came
And erased the first man’s error and removed the shame
Now there is no more fear in death for the sting is gone
In Jesus Christ man’s beauty has been restored and goes on and on and on…
