I arise this morning walked into the office and glanced over my desk. There it was, yet another notice from the electric company. This time only $900.00 before disconnecting service on Oct 31st. Just in time for Halloween, happy Halloween, trick or treat.
These notices are commonplace now, 6-months back to work, from a three-year unemployment stint. Delinquency notices are the least of my problems. My wife exasperated with the situation, informed me our son won’t be able to complete his college studies and will have to come home, for good at Christmas. With overdue taxes and a state placed lean on the home and in foreclosure. We failed to obtain another student loan.
My faith in God as wavered. I’m appreciative for working again, and without His help, I wouldn’t be. God and Our Lord Jesus as lead me to understand, as I fight home foreclosure, and illness in the family. He sustains my limited spirit. I look forward each day for answered prayers for my family and strength belief in God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Maybe I’m driven to write today for many people are in similar situation. When God through His power answers my prayer? I might be able to write a delivery testimony after His divine intervention.
