There is what you call the Point of Contact.
Literally, it is that sharp tapering end or a specified moment of time or an important, distinctive act or connection.
It is at the point of contact that we experience the coming together or touching of objects or surfaces. It is the enabling factor, the link between one body and another that enables transference of particles between them.
In a company the point of contact is the gateway to success, the focal point or that person you need to connect with to achieve your desired objective.
It could be that secretary with that alluring charming smile that you need to connect with in the M.D's office. It could be the wife of the Chairman who is the person that takes all of the final decisions (despite the fact that she is just his wife!) Within the central communication office there is usually a receptionist who channels all in-coming messages to the required quarters, but in all, there is a hotline number that gets straight to the person who makes the decisions.
Once you have attained this point and connect properly, there is no need to struggle any further. When you realise this, you come down the slope of the mountain rejoicing that you have fulfilled your objective and received the proverbial Golden Fleece.
In the ultimate interaction between a man and a woman once you have located and connected adequately to the point of contact, you get to the point of no returnï, nature takes over and the rest is sweet memories of the experience.
However, you need to appreciate and understand the purpose behind the interaction. When you are positive about what happens at the point of contact you get what you want and depart with a Positive Mental Attitude. As one of my mentors on this subject would say it is like the man who attained what is called the eleventh hour miracle in the bible.
The point of contact is that place where that desired, sought for blessing enters our lives. It could be a divine helper that God brings our way to connect, link and promote us. It could be an idea that could turn our lives around. It could even be the contents or a line within this book you are presently reading! It is what we need to do and attain to open to us the door of favour and goodness.
We also need to understand that blessings cannot be received without a point of contact; a particular moment when something happened that seals the deal.
God does not operate without a point of contact. It could be an angel, a person or location. There are many cases in the bible that illustrate this point. Stories such as those of Mordecai and Esther, Naaman and the slave girl readily come to mind.
Let us together look at the latter example: (2 Kings 5:1-4) Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper. And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife. And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy. And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
Naaman's point of contact for his healing was the slave girl in his household. It is not common for a master to listen to a person who appears as insignificant as a slave girl. But it was when Namman did such that he got what he was seeking for.
The boy with five loaves of bread is another example of a powerful point of contact. Many, including the disciples, most likely would have despised the boy thinking he had no role to play in what they were seeking for. But he ended up being the key, the point of contact, that provided the source with which they were physically satisfied that day.
Another example is the story of the woman that touched the helm of Jesus garment The bible states concerning her: "For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole." (Matthew 9:21) Her point of contact was the helm of his garment. There were many who thronged Jesus for the whole day but they did not receive a miracle. This woman identified where the power was, connected to it- and her life was changed around. I pray you shall identify and connect to your positive point of contact in Jesus name.
Joseph was a point of contact of blessing to the house of Potiphar. Jacob was a point of contact of blessing to the house of Laban. Jesus was the point of contact of salvation between God and the world/mankind. Please take this prayer point: Oh Lord, let me connect my point of contact to my blessing today in the name of Jesus.
A gift or object could serve as a positive place of contact. We read in the bible concerning the ark of God in the house of Obededom: (2 Samuel 6:11) And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household. The angel by the pool of Bethsaida was also a point of contact.
You will not miss your point of contact in the name of Jesus.
The mystery of the point of contact is that it does not have to be the main thing or the main person. It is just that aspect of your experience in life where the miracle you seek occurs and what is responsible for it! That which seems unimportant could be the most important thing to you.
It is not everyone that met with Elisha while he was alive that was blessed by him but one man received his own anointing when he was buried in his grave (2Kings 13: 21.)In that case a dead man and his bones served to another as his point of contact!
What happens to you when you locate your point of contact largely depends on what you realise at the time or place it happens and what you do with the experience later. A sister made up her mind to attend a two- day programme. She missed the first day, while on the second; she got there late and missed the main speaker. However, she met his Personal Assistant. The meeting with the Personal Assistant was to later work in her favour as she eventually became a member of his ministry rising to become a vital minster. The Personal Assistant was her point of contact to her promotion in the ministry.
God can also make you a Point of contact, a source of great blessings to someone else!
Remember, the success behind the point of contact commences, when you realise how useful it is. If you react negatively when you reach the point of contact you may not attain the blessings attached. Reacting negatively at your point of contact could steal your blessings. Being negative at your point of contact could bring about a ladder that enables Satan to get into your life. The negative reaction to a point of contact could open a door of misfortune. However, on second thought when you consider the experience from a positive perspective, things will begin to turn around.
Abraham was a great man of God. He travelled to Egypt due to a famine in the land of Israel. It was from Pharaoh, King of Egypt that he received a slave girl Hagar who was the point of contact that led to the birth of Ishmael, the father of the Ishmaelites and eventually, the Muslims that today lay claim to the lineage of Abraham.
Maybe, your desire to set up and run your own company could manifest as a result of a meeting with an individual. what of your desire to recieve your healing or miracle? You still need a point of contact for it to happen. I pray your point of contact will manifest soon in Jesus name.
Beloved, take note, this book is about identifying the main point of contact in the bible. Will you recognise it when you see it? Will you positively react to the message our Lord was passing on? You shall recognise and identify your point of contact in the name of JESUS!
