It never ceases to amaze me how nature preaches to us, as day unto day utters knowledge of exactly where we live. I'm remembering again from my science lessons how the colder fall weather chokes off the dominant green of the chlorophyl in the trees allowing the other leaf pigments (that were there dormant all along) to break through and express themselves as yellow, purple, red and brilliant orange. So too in team sports or team business when one strong player is injured or otherwise indisposed others have the opportunity to step up and take their places. It then becomes their time to shine and be or do what they were always capable of but lacked that opportune moment. It's true even in families that suffer the sickness or disability or even, God forbid, the death of one of its members. People (and pigments)are always stepping up and rising to occasions all around the world, as year after year the creation reminds us of the necessity. The onset of the colors of fall never ceases to be beautiful, if anything it becomes more wondrous every year. Similarly, if we take notice, the interpersonal dynamics of those whose time has come at last is an unending source of wonder and praise!
