With preference for dark over light
Black and even crimson your choice
An angel living more for the night
Society doesn’t understand your voice.
Goths, rebels in culture your right
Living life fully the way you choose
No will to change for sake of sight
Living fully with nothing to loose.
Willing to walk alone your road
Dressed in black but eyes of blue
You’re living by a standard, a code
Inside you hear a voice, it’s you.
I am who I am this is how I’ll stay
Like me, love me if you want too
Either way I’ll do it my way
Goth is for me alive and so true.
