As soon as Kurt entered the Church he realized these "hypocrites" could not help me find Jesus and overcome his drug problems. Sally also was very upset that Chrsitians would not actively support her "help the needy" projects. How should we view Christians who aren't what they "should" be?
God wants a personal relationship with humans through His Son Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9-13; John 15:10-15; John 3:16; John 21:15-17). It is this relationship with Father God Through God The Son (Jesus Christ) that humans will enter Heaven's Paradise as Spirit Sons (Children) of God (1 Corinthians 15:50-53; John 4:24; John 3:1-8; John 3:9-16; Romans 8:16-17; John 14:4-7).
Many humans feel that a Church or Christians should help them through their concerns. The Bible teaches that God wants to be our Helper (Comforter). The Bible tells us not to trust in humans who are not perfect and prone to fail you. The Bible also teaches that when we learn to trust in God and Walk in Faith (Which is the Spirit) that we will "see (sense, know)" God's Presence and we won't need any person, Christian or Church to help us through our concerns (John 14:18, 26-27; Psalm 9:10; Psalm 25:2, 20; Psalm 40:4; Psalm 44:6; Psalm 55:23; Psalm 56:11; Psalm 141:8; Psalm 146:3; Proverbs 3:5-7; Hebrews 13:5-6; Matthew 6:25-34; Philippians 4:6-8; John 3:1-8; Galatians 5:16, 25; 1 John 2:27; Matthew 17:20; Matthew 21:21; Matthew 11:22 Romans 5:12).
What We've Learned Thus Far 1- A person must train themselves to trust in God through Bible study, Bible understanding, Prayer and Obeying God's Word (Which Is Faith) if they are to have God's Success in their concerns (Psalm 55:22; Matthew 11:28-30).
How Can We Apply What We Have Learned- We should not waste our time being frustrated over the "failings" of others. We should make it a personal goal to daily grow with God. We daily grow with God through Bible Study, Bible Understanding, Prayer and Obeying God's Word (Which Is Faith).
Many persons will respond that no human can grow with God unless some experienced Christian helps them (Acts 8:28-31; Romans 10:14-15). Unfortunately there will be times when others will not be available to encourage you. This is when you can "Strengthen (Encourage) Yourself In The Lord (John 16:16, 28, 32; 1 Samuel 30:6)". The Bible tells you that God Loved you so much that He gave (offered) His Only Begotten Son For YOU (John 3:16). God will ensure that you have whatever you need to develop a pesronal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:25-34). The Book Of Daniel Prophecized that in our time (The Last Days) God would increase knowledge upon the earth (Daniel 12:1-5; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Daniel 11:40-44).
If you have Prayer and Believe (Faith) That God Will Help You (With Holy Spirit) You Will Have Victory. You can use Internet (online) Search Engines or Christian Bookstores for God's Knowledge (1 John 2:15-17).

The more a person begins not to trust in Earthly things but turns their attention and their Faith toward God they will See His Hand In Their Personal Lives And They Will Begin To Experience Breakthroughs And Victories (Ephesians 1:3; Hebrews 12:22). In many cases the person must Stand In Faith On God And God's Word. They will have struggles which will strengthen their Faith if they don't tire out (or give up) (Ephesians 6:10-18, 1 Peter 5:9; Galatians 6:9; 2 Corinthians 6:4; Colossians 1:24; 2 Timothy 4:5).
What We've Learned Thus Far 2- A Church or Christians can not Spiritually change a person. Only God's Holy Spirit can do that (John 14:26; Acts 2:1-22). Noone should blame Christians or Christian locations for what seems to be hypocrisy or apathy. Each human is commanded to Trust In God, Have Faith and Grow With The Holy Spirit. When any human fails to obey God's commandments God will respond. God is Judge and He will not be mocked (disobyed or disrespected) (Psalm 50:6; Galatians 6:7).
Any human who has disobeyed God willnot enter Heaven at Jesus' Coming Again (Matthew 7:13-29; Matthew 25:1-13). This is why you and I must personally strive to Grow With God. We would be foolish to make excuses and disobey God (Genesis 3:1-16; Psalm 14:1; 1 Corinthians 9:24-26).
How Can We Apply What We've Learned-We should serve God with the exact same passion we have for things we enjoy doing. God Is A Jealous God And We Must Not Put Other Things Above Him (Exodus 20:1-5).
Christians Should Love God And Neighbors First (Matthew 22:37-39). However Christians should not get involved with "good works" if these take much time from personally growing with God (Matthew 26:6-13). Also if a Christian thinks or believes that "good works" get them into Heaven they won't enter Heaven. Christians enter Heaven by God's Grace And The Precious Blood that Jesus Shed upon the Cross. Thus Christians must ensure that they always Honor God First and acknowledge that their "works" don't move God (Matthew 7:21-23; Luke 13:25-27; 1 Peter 1:9; John 3:16; Romans 3:20-30; Romans 4:1-12; Romans 11:6; John 13:34; John 15:12-17; Galatians 4:20-26).
In order to enter Heaven Christians must be "Born Again (in Holy Spirit)" and "Walk In The Spirit" (John 3:1-8; John 4:24; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54; Galatians 5:16, 25).

This article began with Kurt blaming Christians for not helping him personally grow with God. This article also began with Sally who thought Christians should be more involved in the community. God's Word, however, teaches that we don't need anyone else to help us spiritually grow with God. The Bible also teaches that the most important assignment any Christian has is to personally grow with God through Bible Study, Bible Understanding, Prayer, Growing With God And Standing In Faith on a regular basis.
The Bible informs us that Satan is the ruler of this world and that this world has been condemned by God (Luke 4:4-7; 1 John 2:15-17; John 15:18-19; John 16:10-11, 20-21, 33; John 17:9, 14-16, 17). Christians are commanded to bear Holy Spirit Fruit and prepare to enter Heaven (Matthew 7:13-29; Galatians 5:15-24).
