Warning Goes Before Destruction

Jeremiah 25:30 therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, the Lord shall roar from on high and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes against all the inhabitants of the earth.

Jeremiah dictated his prophecies and Baruch wrote them down and the New Testament contains numerous references to Jeremiah. God is still trying to get the nations righteous. We are the remnant that would return to live under Messiahís rule in religious and social security. Messiahís righteous rule over a righteous people helps explain Jeremiahís doctrine of the New Covenant. People would be righteous because their hearts would be renewed. They would obey Godís laws from the heart spontaneously. The New Covenant insuring forgiveness and inward moral dynamic would transcend the legalism of the Old Covenant. Eventually through Christís sacrificial death and the inward regenerative activity of the Holy Spirit, the New Covenant became a reality.

Repentance is here now for Jesus Christ has come and with his coming things was to change the hearts of men everywhere. There is still religious apostasy and political weakness that made the fall of Jerusalem and exile inevitable. There are still distressing circumstances in which the people of God works and the extraordinary extent to which idolatry has replaced revealed religion in the world are clearly mirrored in Jeremiahís prophecies even today. The one thing not seen today is the spiritual anguish Jeremiah occasioned against this apostasy. Jeremiah was no pessimist but he was essentially Godís warrior, a watchman and witness. He prophesied in conditions similar to those of today, his awareness of them and his prophecies showed his relationship and fellowship with God.

Jeremiah was a watchman over Godís nations. He preached that God is the moral governor of the world and Israelís covenant God. Through Israel he sought to achieve moral purposes. Alas, the northern kingdomís adulteries with the Baalim god compelled God to divorce or exile Israel. Judah, the southern kingdom failed to learn from Israelís experience and out did Israel in sexual impurities, yet Judah repudiated the charges of religious infidelity therefore God must judge her.

America stands warned today that repentance will stay the exile proceedings, your adulteries notwithstanding so great is the Lordís grace. Donít allow sin to become so established that the lewdness cause us to be incapable of moral amendment. Even our social virtues are disappearing. Christ was and is the final sacrifice for the sin of men, there is no substitutes for repentance and righteousness. Americaís appalling sinfulness means that sin must be congenital hence itís moral inability springing from a sinful nature. Judgment is inescapable and exile. Exile however is not the final word.

The noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord has a controversy with the nations. He is pleading with all flesh; He will give all them that are wicked to the sword. Evil shall go forth from nation to nation and a great whirlwind shall be raise up from the coasts of the earth. The slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth to the other end, they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, not buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

The Shepherds of God is not howling and crying against sin as it is not a popular thing to do but it will bring destruction even to them and their children. Will it take ashes before something is said concerning sin to come to your house or nation? Jeremiah warned in Chapter 25 that the days of our slaughter and of our dispersions are accomplished and we shall fall like a pleasant vessel. The hearts of men toward God is failing every day and we are the cause of it. We the Shepherds think that as long as me and my four is okay I am not worried. Well guess what you should worry.

Jeremiah says that the Shepherds shall have no way to flee; nor the principal of the flock to escape. The voice of the cry of the Shepherds and a howling of the principal of the flock shall be heard; for the Lord has spoiled their pasture and the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the Lord. The Shepherds has forsaken his covert, as the lion; for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor and because of his fierce anger. Shepherds we are warned today to pick up Godís Word, Preach it, Teach it, Live it, Instruct with it, Correct with it, Reprove with it, Perfect the Saints with it, Work the ministry with it, and Edify the body with it. We are to do this until we all come together in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

How do we know if we will not only save our nation, but the world? Itís no time for softness and men being of a jelly back. We must stand firm against sin, it is the destructive force that not only cause one man to fall but nations of men. From the White House to the Governors Houses and to all out houses need salvation. The leaders lead out especially in Holy and Sanctified lifestyles. The Shepherds of the Church of Jesus Christ tends the sheep not only in the Church House but even the out-house of society; thatís the streets. We donít live in deserts or tents anymore so we have to take the Gospel where all will hear and thatís in the homes. We are to know those that labor among us and they are to know individually their call.

The Shepherd now of a nation is the Leader, President or whatever they are called. They too must be armed with Godís Gospel; knowing it and keeping it as well. They must stand up for Godly Principles and not deviate from the Word they know. When the Shepherd deviates from Godís Word they cause destruction to come upon the whole nation. The Shepherd is to celebrate the good and do away with the bad moral issues. He has a club in his hand, given by God to use when the wild people has allowed the enemy of their souls to overtake them to put them back in check. Are we our brotherís keeper was asked by Cain to God when he had murdered his brother Abel and God wanted to know where was Abel. He tried to throw God off as if he could. When we allow our brothers and sisters to continue in sin, we murder their souls. To whom much is given much is required.

A worthy Shepherd came to have great affection for his sheep and would risk his life for them. A hired Shepherd was required to give an account of every sheep at the end of the pasturing season. If a wild animal killed a sheep, the hires Shepherd sought to find some small piece of the carcass, such as an ear, that would show the teeth marks of the wild animal and identify the sheep to the owner (Amos 3:12). If a worldly shepherd had to be accountable what about a Godly Shepherd. Being a Shepherd has a call that goes along with the job. There is a responsibility, accountability, and reliability associated with the call to duty of a leader of any segment of life as started with Adam. Jesus came with the same assignment that He willingly obeyed to the end. He is the Great Shepherd.

The remnant given to the Great Shepherd is proof that He had not killed or eaten those that He was put over. He did not kill them with words or deeds. He didnít eat them or feed them with sin. The relationship Jesus had with man is the symbol of Godís relation to Israel and for the love He has for his own. Jesus is the Great Shepherd. He shepherds the souls of men on a vast scale. He was given a large commanding job that had to be exceptionally done on a grand majestic scale. Would He finish the work? Would He too yield Himself to the rudiments of the earth as His predecessor Adam had? Would Jesus be exalted as the High Priest of the souls of men? Would he be famous for victory or defeat? Will he be celebrated as the Son of God or cast into the outer darkness until the Day of Judgment as Satan was? Would His work be distinguished as notable or noted as failure as Adam's?

Jesus had a big work to do and I am sure these earthly things crossed his mind at one point before Satan himself would show up to tempt him. We too as the people of God is tempted in like manner as Jesus was being a man. Jesus however overcame the temptations of the world; what are we going to do? Are we going to be shaky, infirmed and unreliable where God cannot depend on us to ascertain every uncertainty and questionable act of sin? We are to find out about by examining the Word of God and determine that yes this is sin and should not be named among men as created by God. God has an order that man must follow or they face judgment.

The Shepherd is the Watchman stationed in the earth as from the beginning to keep the Garden, the man. When man will obey God then the woman and children too will fall in line. Had Adam obeyed God, Eve would still be alive in the Garden and we would not have known evil or sin. Disobedience was birth forth that day to this day but now we have a choice to choose righteousness over sin because the Great Shepherd of the souls of man came. He is here today and wants us to make the choice to save our families, our country, and nations. A warning goes before destruction, the downfall, havoc or ruin.

Destruction has no covering but they that have been appointed to cover can turn man to destruction. We are wasting too much time having fun and devouring one another. Our nation is on the decline because of the failure of oneness that was present at the onset. Men had differences and its okay to disagree but it wasnít done publicly but in chambers. A foolís mouth is his destruction and we cannot be destructive in our ways. Vessels of wrath are fitted for destruction; being full of sin and is punished with everlasting destruction. They bring destruction upon themselves and a whole nation and; the nations the world.

We can though be saved from destruction if we realize that Jesus has come to redeem our lives from destruction. He is our warning today to change us from the path we have chosen. He is here today to encourage us to leave the sin that has taken us captive and come once again to Him. Depart from sin. Stop the derision of Satan in our lives. Itís time we stop Satan from making mockery of us; using us for his pleasure. He is the only one getting pleasure out of the sin we do. The after thoughts let us know we are wrong and sin has no pleasure. Turn to Jesus today.
