Honestly, I thought of how when a pitcher's
fastball exceeds his curve or change-up by 20 or more miles per hour, it makes the batters turn color too for having swung and missed by so much.
Yes, I thought that, but kept it quiet lest ye judge me a fanatic! (You really wouldn't be far off base.)
