Just as i was about to turn off the light, this poem
came into sight,it should be morning, and not at
night, into my backyard to-day a little furry cat
did stray,at first a little nervous;until i gave
to her some food, this little stray,a misnomer i
have to say,she wears a red collar, she must be
someone else's feline,her age about a year i
would guess,so very friendly i cannot say less,
other cats may come and go,this little cat is so
very friendly also full of vim and vigour, shes
brown and white with a little grey,i call her
cheeky;she's welcome in my backyard any day,
to stay awhile,and slip away;to freedom's
play, may GOD grant to us all the grace to
pray everyday.
Joe.
