The Life of Man; the Soul

Have we forgotten that the life of man is the Soul? The Soul is that spiritual nature in man which is more than what is found in the Creation. It is spiritual reasoning and immortal. The word soul is synonymous with the life of man.

We must search our Souls as David did. It wasnít his enemy that persecuted him more than he did himself in coming to realize his own error. The things we do in deed and word touches our soul in one way or the other. David was vexed day in and night because of what he had done to one of his own, not the enemy. He sought to kill the enemy and was justified but to kill one of his own that he had no justification to do haunted; him. The wicked was not favored but he was and God would have worked his situation out had he not went about it as a worldly man. The Soul is the life of man.

Psalm 6:1-4 O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Have mercy upon me, O Lord for I am weak; O Lord heal me for my bones are vexed. My soul is also sore vexed, but thou O Lord how long? Return O Lord, deliver my soul; oh save me for thy mercy sake.

David was complaining although he had the victory. Why is this so? Making God angry means we have enraged him, infuriated him, crossed the line, displeased his Order, and annoyed his purpose to the point that he is hostile towards us. We caused God pain, wretchedness, or agony where he is hot with us and it affects our soul. A vexed soul needs a spiritual healing because of the wrath of God that could be poured out on us. We first though must realize our wrong and repent of it. We donít give up on God. When we give up on God it shows our frustration and that we are exasperated, irritated, and annoyed with ourselves. We put ourselves in a position to turn our backs on the vision but the Devil is a liar, he hasnít won. The Soul is the life of man.

The real enemy of our soul is us; these dirt men. God breathe the breath of life in man and man became a living Soul. Itís something to walk around empty and void all the time. What is missing? Our Soul doesnít have any life; no Word, no Spirit, and no direction. We are persecuted in our souls of our own doings. Itís not Adam that still disobeys God; itís us. Jesus came and did away with all that Adam brought upon man. He gave us a chance that our soul may live but it is up to us if we will allow Him to live in our Soul. We are treading down our lives in the earth and compromising our soul to live eternally in a place called hell. My friend or enemy will not be the cause of my demise.

If the soul of man is the life of man why are men so lifeless, exhausted, and numb if Christ reigns in it? It is dead because we have allowed our soul to perish with the world. Man causes the Spirit not to properly function in them through disobedience to God. We weary God with our doings and is insensible to His Word. We have become anesthetized with the world goods. We have be deceived, dishonest with ourselves, and swindled out of our vision; hoodwinked and betrayed. Itís time we realize life is in the soul realm and speak and declare that God is to be confessed. There is a great decline of love for the souls of men in the world today; is there anyone that cares that I perish? Is there anyone in the world today care that my soul is deteriorating? Is there anyone that care that I am as refuse to God in my backsliding state? Well guess what I have to go at it alone. No one can revive my soul but God.

We can live a lifetime existing only for the world; being used to continue sinís path and cause our soul to not endure to the end. The soul is the life of man, his being, presence, consciousness and vitality. We are not living if our Soul is not continuously being edified. It is the life in the soul that gives us zeal and excitement from generation to generation. The cycle is to never stop; even after a soul is gone back to the one that gave us life; God. Lifeless also means we lack spirit; we are slow in moving for God, heavy in our sorrows, and live a dull life. When God Spirit does not dwell we are considered dead. Well we are dead being that the Spirit gave us life in the first place; how can we continue without Him? We are so distracted and absorbed in this outward part of man; we fail to realize we have troubled God the Creator of our soul. The right mixture of all the parts of man will produce a readiness for the world to come.

God will judge us according to his righteousness and integrity that is within us. God tries the reigns of a manís heart for He is upright in heart. We need all of God in us every day and night. God will make our enemies be still; he will still us and cause our souls to be at rest. We canít go anywhere in the earth and find a replacement for the soul. A heart or any body part can be replaced. Even manís spirit is misplaced in that we donít submit our will to the will of God. The nature of man has two main doctrines; Dichotomy which declares that there are two essential parts in man; the body, which is material, and the Soul. The other is Trichotomy which declares that man is made up of body, soul, and spirit. The Bible does clearly teach us how man obtained his higher spiritual nature, soul, or personality in Genesis 2:7.
