Faith
It is a great misconception to think that we should expect to commune with an Almighty God without first offering Him reverence.
Ever been in a church where people were too reserved to open their mouths and give God praise? It’s hard to even breathe in churches like that. "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." So if you have a hard time breathing it’s because He's not there. I recommend making your way quickly to the exit door.
Some houses of worship are just playing church. It is not their style to make a joyful noise and shout to the Lord. They seem not to get excited for the privilege of entering into His presence: procured by the precious blood of the Holy Lamb of God. But you get them in front of a sports event and you can't shut them up. And they will take offense to anyone who dares to try.
He is a jealous God. And you cannot possibly know Him if you get more excited over a sports event than the privilege of entering into His Holy presence. Perhaps that's because you have yet to enter into His presence?
Praising Him will part the veil and allow us to enter in the Holy of Holies. Praise is not an option it is a commanded prerequisite if we expect to be ushered into the presence of the Almighty God.
If you want to know that He is with you -- Praise Him! If you want to fill your day with divine direction -- Praise Him! If you want to live with the indwelling of His Holy Spirit and His comfort -- "Praise Him, coming in and going out.” “Let everything that hath breath - PRAISE HIM." "If we don't praise Him, the rocks will." KJB
"We enter into His presence with Praise and Thanksgiving." KJB
