Have you ever heard of
something called the
"crossword" ?
A puzzle to some
but not to all-
not to those
who heard
the call.
When I hear of
the "crossword"
I know what
Christ did
and what He
did-- was done in plain
sight as a witness to all
that can never
be hid.
Christ crossed out
all my sins and all
of my transgressions.
He crossed out the stains
of all those who would receive
the truth of His sacrifice
And humbly believe.
His going to the
cross was written
in Scripture
for all ages to come
teaching us of
all the blessed signs and clues
that would announce
the "good news" of
the One True Light.
Numbered spaces can remind
us to number our days
helping us to live in ways
That gives our God all
glory and praise.
The " crossword" in my life
is complete as all spaces
are filled with the commune
of my continual retreat
made in the eternal love
of Christ.

I can just imagine you sitting down for your daily crossword puzzle and the Lord imprinting this Image of Truth upon your heart.
