My bitterness subdues me and depresses me.
I lose control of myself. I am helpless.
Lord, take this evil from within me, cleanse me.
I ache inside for my love is not as Your love, never ending.
For bitterness defiles the soul.
It feeds evil within my mind.
Darkness hovers over me.
Hatred and revenge flourish like a disease.
I long inside to possess Your love within me.
I shall faint not from praying for Your Spirit, strength, and love.
My heart suffers when my spirit is filled with inequities.
O' my Lord, O' my Lord, have mercy on me.
