Running, we are always running.
We run from the very thing, in which we should stay and stand.
We ask God to use us and just when He does.
We tuck our tails and head in the opposite direction, as if it wasn’t in His plan.
Sometimes, we are where we are because it isn’t about us!
We ask Him to use us and then we don’t trust.
Running, we are always running.
Running, we are always running.
Send me, oh Lord, we pray.
Then, as if we refuse to accept His answer,
We run from the perfect plan God sends our way.
Sometimes, we expect His will never requires us to endure.
We think it should always be easy; of that we are sure.
Running, we are always running.
Moses ran too.
Not, just you,
But God sent him back.
Hagar ran.
She didn’t like God’s plan,
But God sent her back.
Elijah ran.
He ran from a woman!
God sent him back.
Jonah ran.
A whale swallowed the man.
God rescued him, but He sent him back.
Running, we are always running.
We need to realize, we might be exactly where God wants us to be.
Quit running away from every little thing,
Just because, as Christians, we think everything should be easy.
Stand in faith, see it through and He’ll say, “Well done.”
Victory will then be ours and the race will be won.
Running, we are always running.
