“I have learnt that in life …” This phrase must be familiar to you because it is used more often especially when folks are sharing their life experiences. There is a common saying that “experience is the best teacher”. Life is full of many things that even up to today I am not able to fathom. Remember that Jesus died for us that we may have life in abundance. Life is full of abundance and it is entirely upon each and every individual to see and partake from life’s abundance.
To some they see lack, misfortune and a bleak future while to some they see abundance, bright sky and a lot of hope ahead. The poor and the rich, the wise and fools all have similar and five senses under normal circumstances but yet to some they get the rough side of life while to some they get the smooth and gentle side of life. All these different factors are always present every day in life but it depends upon the individual about what they let into their eye gates and ear gates. When you let life show you lack and misfortune it will capitalize on teaching you that and when you let life show you abundance, peace and the fruits of the Spirit as mentioned in Galatians 5:22, it will teach you just that. Life is a teacher but it teaches different subjects to folks depending on which subject you are majoring on.
Start looking around and accept those things that you desire in life and put a blind eye on those that you don’t want in your life. Psalmist David said he was young and now was old and he has never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread- Psalm37:25. That is what he chose to see and that is what life taught him. What is life teaching you?
