After, years of running from leaders who abused their leadership power, I decided to stop running from one ineffective leader to the next and run into the arms of my Saviour. As I looked to God for the answers and direction, The Holy Spirit started teaching me. I began to depend on God more by reading The Bible regularly, seeking answers, and asking God to reveal things to me. I got to the place where I could recognize that leaders also struggle with their various issues and sometimes get weak, slip and allow the enemy to use them. I realize that it is not the individual but the spirit operating in them.
Coming into this knowledge, I wanted to do something that would make a difference. Just stating the hurt so others can recognize that they are not alone, was not enough; I also wanted to help leaders by reminding them that they have to give an account to God for those who are placed under their leadership and so they need to think about how their action affect those in their care. I will continue to share as I am inspired to write. As you operate in your calling as a leader please be reminded that you are to follow the example set by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. You should meditate on His Word day and night and purpose in your heart to do what you are instructed to do. When you obey His commands you are walking in prosperity.
