Friendship is like the wind.
It will blow soft and easy to bring peace to the soul.
It also will spin with an uncontrollable force like a tornado,
which will wear a person down.
Other times it blows fast and strong, causing a friendship to grow quickly,
also binding it like glue.
Sometimes it’s like the icy cold wind at night,
it over takes the spirit with a feeling of betrayal and emptiness.
At times it gently blows in a small circle, as two people are caught up in their own world; whereas, it permeates the heart with joy and laughter.
It can be like a hot wind blowing blistering torment that abuses and crushes the spirit.
On a hot day friendship can be a cool breeze under a shady tree,
which brings comfort to the weary mind.
Friendship just as well can blow in different directions as a roller coaster,
causing a friendship not to be consistent.
It makes feelings to rise and fall with assurance and disappointment.
Friendship can also come to an end; like the wind that stops blowing altogether;
therefore, leaving the heart sorrowful or a bitter taste in the mouth.
There is one friendship that we can always depend on, that is the friendship of Jesus Christ.
