Have Confidence To Let God Do Him

God wants to do something and we the people of God donít have enough confidence to let God do Him. We always saying ďI am going to do meĒ but when it comes to God doing Him we freak out. What is going on? Lord why did you let this happen or that? We must have confidence that God knows what He is doing and how He wants to do things.

Psalm 37 starts off by David saying fret not thyself because of evil doers neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. Since we rely on feelings rather than trust God we give the enemy power over us to run rampant in our lives. We have been told that we donít serve God by how we feel. Donít rely on our circumstances or what we see to be what things really are. Our election must be sure; we must be sure we want to love and trust God because the times we live in are very unstable. We rely on the discretion of others; we support things we should not. In our hearts we know things being done in the world is not cool with God but with the world and we say nothing because we are so fearful. Fear has taken a grip on the Christian when there is no fear in God. We fret at the sight of a youngster that we are supposed to be teaching the right way.
We lack spiritual fortitude that will take us to the streets where we have been sent to win the lost at any cost. Have confidence to let God do Him.

Fret means to eat or gnaw into; corrode; to devour. We allow those things that go on in life to eat away at our salvation. We are devoured by fear. The devil has a field day laughing at us; he take great delight in our timorous or worrying temperament. He likes the fact that we the Christian have a state of mind that implies a premonition of evil or danger, are afraid that suggest we are weak and cowardice and inhibited by actions or utterances that keeps us afraid to speak the truth of Godís Word. Fear is an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. Fear causes one to be anxiously concerned. It puts a mark there that says danger when God will not allow us to walk into danger without warning and protection. Fear is a false panic attack and causes the believer to lose courage. We are intensely reluctant to do the will and work of God where we will face off with the devil on his turf. We are acceptable of wrong doing because of the anxiety of us speaking the truth may bring forth death. Many of us are terrified in our own homes. Satan can do no more than God allows him to; thatís why we are to run to God in those situations and circumstances that cause us to be fearful.

Then David said be not envious against the workers of iniquity; those that do things and hide their hand. Iniquity is hidden sin, wrong done in the dark where no one sees it where it is covered up. Many times these people want to lure us into their wrong; they like company but only those that will not say anything about them being wrong. Satan reached back and took one third of the angels in heaven with him when he was kicked out. The devil wants to entrap the Christian where he can accuse us before God. To be envious means we have a painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage. It involves some envy and malice. It is a feeling and encounters the flesh and not spirit. The stuff we are envious of is mute; we donít know how these people got what they have. They may have possessed it wrong, through lying, stealing or deception. Donít be envious but hate the things they do against God, the body, soul, and spirit. The sinner should feel convicted being around a true born again Christian.

Whosoever commits sin transgress the law of God and has not seen him neither know him because he that commit sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin for his seed remains in him and he cannot sin because he is born of God. Now if we are born of God and there is no envy in God, why would we be envious? Envy slays the silly man. We are envious at the prosperity of the wicked and why? Is our hearts sound towards God? A sound heart is they life of the flesh but envy is rottenness of the bones. Donít let our hearts envy the sinners or each other; neither desire to be with them for they are evil in their ways and their work is done in evil. Jealousy is cruel as the grave and the workers of iniquity are filled with all unrighteousness. Why would we be envious: against such we are to turn away.

The wicked shall soon be cut down but we that trust in the Lord and do the good will of God shall continue to dwell in the land. We will be taken care of if we delight our self in the Lord and commit our ways to Him. If we trust Him for everything He will bring His Word to pass in our lives. We are to live in righteousness that God be glorified and He will cause us to rest in His glory. God knows the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be forever. We cannot lose with God if we are on his side. He will not allow us to be made ashamed in the evil time and in the days of famine He will see to His people being satisfied with plenty. Whosoever is blessed of God shall inherit the earth. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delights in his way. It is a delight to serve God. It is a delight to be loved by God.

The righteous shall be preserved forever. The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment. The law of God is in our heart and none of our steps shall slide. We are watched to be slayed but the Lord will not leave us in the hand of the wicked or condemn him when he is judged. Wait on the Lord and keep his way. It seems as though the wicked is in power now but God is going to turn that around. The wicked will be cut off. Mark the perfect man and behold the upright for the end of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together. The salvation of the righteous is of the Lord; he is their strength in the time of trouble. The Lord shall help us and deliver us from the wicked and will save do it because we trust in Him.

We have to have confidence to let God do Him! Itís time we stop upholding sin. Itís time we speak up for what we know is right in the sight of God. The Word must be given and we are responsible for getting it out. God is our salvation, our hope for tomorrow. He is our help and deliverer. Take heed and consider our ways that we sin not with our tongues. Keep a bridle on the tongues that we speak no evil for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak. The mouth will tell what is really on the inside of us. God is good to men that are of a clean heart and not envious at the foolish when we see them prosper in their own way. We can do without the prideful spirit they carry and the chain of violence that compass them. The wicked gets their hearts desires but they are corrupt prospering in the world but not with God. Their increase is in riches, natural things.

Christ is coming back again. There are signs of his coming all around us. The sign is in the sun, the moon, the stars, distress of nations upon the earth with perplexity and the sea and the waves are roaring. Menís hearts are failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken; then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Do you want to be a part of this great victory? Our redemption draws closer now than it did on yesterday. The kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Itís time to come to Christ as never before and have confidence to let God do Him!
