I haven't written lately because I've been
disillusioned by where the church in America is
headed. Seeker friendly churches that take down
crosses and replace prayer meetings with movie
night. While pastors look the other way at members
living in sin and major church leaders apologize to
gay's for their stand on gay marriage.
But while I read the book of Judges I realized that
I was acting like Gideon and hiding from the enemy.
Not trusting that my God was in charge. There is a
bumper sticker that says (God said it, I believe
it, that settles it.) Well we need to drop the
middle part because the truth is God said it and
THAT settles it. My belief doesn't change God.
I spoke today with a young man that was 21 and
had a heart attack three years ago. That young
man welcomed my prayer and needed God in his
life. God needed me to share with him. I cannot
and will not hide from my call or my God any
longer. I will do what God has called us all
to do. Preach the good news. God has set his
people free. Free from sin, sickness and death.
Free from the curse of the law. Not because he
I believe it but because God said it. Take the
challenge and share with a lost world the truth
about our redeemer.
