Trials will put us on the front line.
They will help us become refined.
Trials will bring us, countless pain,
other times a great deal of shame.
Trials will help us to awaken
to look at ourselves and examine.
Trials will help make sin enmity.
To help us become one with divinity.
Trials will help reveal our sin's cure,
for in Jesus we shall become pure.
Trials will help develop personality.
To help us resist evil principalities.
Trials do not seem to be very kind, but
at the end Christ will say these are Mine.
