He makes me to lie down on green pastures; He leads me besides still waters ~ psalm 23:2 ~.
We are engineered and created by God. Everyone and everything was created by Him and for Him. In everything He is constant. This means everything that happens to us has a purpose. This includes our failures, mistakes, accidents and even death and illness; it’s all engineered by God. Sometimes it’s to bring us a revelation; sometimes it’s to bring us rest. These things that "happen" to us can help us realize the need to totally depend on God. He is in control. If we depend on our own strength, failure and fatigue is imminent. If we find ourselves trying to take over in the flesh to do something for God and we strike out, it’s because He wants us to know that we need to totally depend on Him. He doesn't need our help; He needs our faith and trust. Depend on God, find rest in your faith in Him. He is the only one who will never let us down.
Lord thank You for today. Thank for Your wisdom and understanding through Your Holy Spirit that is alive and living in each of us, that enables us to place our dependence on You. Thank You for this incredible freedom, peace and rest in our hearts just knowing that You are in control. Thank You for this perfect peace that is beyond all understanding that keeps our mind, our soul and our body at rest. It keeps us safe from harm and from the stress of this world. Thank you for helping us remove our hands and allowing Your hands to cover every part of our lives. Thank You for Your Holy Love and for new eyes to see victory even in our failures, in sickness and dark times. Lord Thank You for reminding us the harder the trial, the more we grow closer to You. That You never allow anything to happen to us that hasn't gone through You first. Lord we are honored to take on these trials, the harder they are, the closer we grow together and the more we mature spiritually in every battle. OH Lord this life is worth living with You. It's impossible without You, but with You everything is possible, and we will give You thanks and praise all the days of this life. Thank you JESUS. To God Be the Glory. ~TRUST HIM ~
