Because He is the one who gave me this life.
Because this life is meaningless without Him.
Because His son sacrificed His body and bled for us.
Because He rose and showed life….for us.
So I sacrificed the world and gave back to Him.
I ask- Why do I thank Him?
I breathe.
Because I wake up every day. My mind intact.
Because He shows me Grace and Mercy, the wretch I am.
I am renewed every day.
My life was putrid and now my life is fresh.
I am blessed. He led me out of darkness and I walk in His light.
Because despite me, He loves me and He keeps His promises.
He’s faithful.
I ask- How do I thank Him?
Be a witness and walk in the example of Jesus.
Study and show myself approved.
Improve.
If I fall, get back up….give Him praise, even in my strife.
Buck against the sin that crawls along my flesh, strengthen the gift He sealed within us.
The Holy Spirit that dwells in us.
The reason behind it all- In the end, I want to be a part of Him.
Desire to be with Him.
My Father, the Almighty, the Omega, the I AM.
My reason for being.
Ask yourself questions.
Born and raised on the South side of Chicago and mother of a beautiful son, Delilah has been writing since she was 10 years old. A quiet child, books took her out of herself and let her imagination run free. Deciding she wanted to create that same space for another person, she began writing stories on her own and let her friends and family enjoy them.
Life and the issues that come with being an adult took her away from her craft for years. Now 37, engaged to a wonderful man and a woman of God, peace has found her……and that life gave her new stories to share. Stories of this world and the struggles many people encounter. Delilah decided to use her gift from God to tell the world of His goodness and mercy and how with Him, we can be saved from these troubles.
