Hebrews Part 12

1 of 2

We are continuing here in the book of Hebrews. We just went over last time in Hebrews 11:1 that the substance or the dead of what we hope for which is be with our Heavenly Father in heaven. Let’s now continue here:

Hebrews 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”

We are living this flesh life together with many other witnesses. So we are not doing this alone, and with dear God right at your side if you keep Him in your life. That’s why we have to put every weight, or any challenge that this flesh life can bring us down making us lose focus of our goal which is to be with the Lord. So be patient with life for God knows what He is doing and is in control of it all. There is nothing that anyone in the flesh has been through that we cannot get through as here:

I Corinthians 10:11 “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”
I Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”
I Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
I Corinthians 10:14 “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”

All the examples we have seen in God’s Word showing us, especially last chapter Hebrews 11 we were shown so many examples of how through their faith that He will get us through this and successfully, we can do this. Especially because we are in these last days and these examples given to us for a warning about the end of this world age. There is always a way to escape out of something. Just ask Him for His help, as He is right there for you. Most importantly stay away from idolatry, meaning anything that pulls you from His Word and the connection you have with the Lord. Moving on here:

Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Author (Strong’s 747) a chief leader; author, captain, prince; (from Strong’s 746) a commencement or chief of order, time, place, or rank, beginning, corner, first (estate), magistrate, power, principality, principle, rule; and (from Strong’s 756) to commence (in order of time); (rehearse from the) beginning; (from Strong’s 757 in sense of precedence) to be first (in political rank or power); reign, (rule) over; and (from Strong’s 71) a bringing up, i.e. mode of living; manner of life; (from Strong’s 71) to bring, drive, go, pass, induce, carry, let go, keep, lead away, be open.
Finisher (Strong’s 5047) (the state) completeness, perfection; (from Strong’s 5046) complete (labor, growth, mental and moral character); completeness; full age, man, perfect; (from Strong’s 5056) (to set out for a definite point or goal); the point aimed at as a limit, i.e. the conclusion of an act or state (termination, result, purpose); an impost or levy (as paid).

When we look at the Word of God that is our Finisher of our faith. Finisher meaning to be complete, perfects, gives us the goal to get to, the point aimed at as HE, with His life paid that price for our sins one time for all! He is the Author meaning coming before everything, the first One in control. Even from Strong’s 756 meaning to rehearse from the beginning. As here:

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:2 “The same was in the beginning with God.”
John 1:3 “All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.”

The LORD God had His plan from the beginning knowing that we could not do this without His Son Jesus Christ laying His life down for all of us, because He loves us that love Him and His Word. We are all His creation, so when we put our focus as in Hebrews 12:1 putting aside any challenges that will come in our lives, we love sight of His Example. He did this perfectly, watching Him, His Word and seeing how to get it done. Jesus then right now today is on the right hand of God, right at His throne:

Psalms 110:1 “(A Psalm of David.) The LORD said unto my Lord, “Sit Thou at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool.”

The enemies will be made His footstool, by us that have faith in Him in His Word and love Him that will stand up for Him and His Word. Not worshipping Satan and warning others, keeping our faith in His Word and not in this flesh world that will soon end. The age only, as here:

II Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
II Peter 3:9 “The LORD is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
II Peter 3:10 “But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
elements (Strong’s 4747) something orderly in arrangement, i.e. a serial (basal or used for teaching beginners, fundamental, initial) constituent or one who authorizes to act as an agent, initial); rudiment or beginning, unformed or developed; (from base of Strong’s 4748) to march in (military) rank (keep step), i.e. to conform to virtue and piety, walk (orderly).
melt (Strong’s 3089) to loosen, break up, destroy, dissolve, loose, melt, put off.

When the Lord returns to this earth as in Zechariah 14:4 and His permanent kingdom is on this earth, the age then changes to spiritual. Remember we learned in I Corinthians 15:52 if you are living in the flesh at that time all flesh goes to the spiritual or celestial bodies as in I Corinthians 15:50 flesh and blood cannot inherit, meaning get into heaven. That period then, the Lord’s Day, the one thousand years, taught in Revelation 20 and Ezekiel 40-50 giving us more detail about what happens. Then the point we came here, the world age or the flesh ends. Anything that is not founded upon His Word is melted off, like false religion and church doctrines not in God’s Word. As remember at this point in II Thessalonians 2:3-4 Satan will have set up his throne on this earth and deceiving the majority living in this final generation. That’s why then in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 Jesus states that not one stone will be left standing at His temple, as He will destroy anything not founded on the Word of God, that church or synagogue of Satan. Moving along here:

Hebrews 12:3 “For consider Him That endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
Hebrews 12:4 “Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.”

None of us had to endure what the Lord had endured constantly under attack by the enemy through his children, the sons of Cain who are of the synagogue of Satan who claim they are Jews, or from the tribe of Judah as in Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9. Let’s go there real quick:

Revelation 2:7 “He hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.’”
Revelation 2:8 “And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; ‘These things saith the First and the Last, Which was dead, and is alive;”
Revelation 2:9 “I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty (but thou art rich), and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”
Revelation 2:10 “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”
Revelation 2:11 “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.’”
tribulation (Strong’s 2346) to crowd, afflict, trouble; (akin to the base of Strong’s 5147) a rut or worn track, path.
Jews (Strong’s 2453) Judean, or resident of Judea; i.e. belonging to Jehudah; (from Strong’s 2448) Judah, a part of (or place in) Palestine; (Strong’s Hebrew 3063) celebrated; Jehovah (or Judah), the name of five Israelites, or the tribe descended from the first, and of its territory.

This is one out of the two from the seven of the churches Jesus approved what they taught. Not by the name, but their teaching of His Word. When we hear His Word we are eating right from that Tree of Life as in Genesis 2-3, Who is the Word of God, Jesus. The First and the Last meaning He became before everything, Our Creator, as remember the Author and Finisher of our faith. This church then teaches who the sons of Cain, or Kenites, who are of the synagogue of Satan as in Genesis 3:15 that serpent’s seed, meaning offspring, as Satan is the serpent as in Revelation 12:9 and 20:2. Then when Satan is sitting in God’s throne and claims to be God and this entire world worships him, the election each can only be held for ten days for that testimony of the Lord’s Holy Spirit speaking through them as in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. We will never be given that challenge that was no challenge for the Lord for He loves us that love Him. He loves us never sinning, showing us the way as Matthew 4 and Luke 4, showing that Satan will use the Word of God to deceive. As here:

Luke 4:1 “And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,”
Luke 4:2 “Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days He did eat nothing: and when they were ended, He afterward hungered.”
Luke 4:3 “And the devil said unto Him, “If Thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.”
Luke 4:4 “And Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”

The Lord showing us right at the beginning of His ministry and teaching us His Word, Satan is right there on His back tempting Him. Forty meaning probation, just like the people of Israel going through the wilderness trying to get to that promised land. Showing us the way, that HE accomplished this. Just think starving for forty days, that way we in the flesh can understand that all of us would be very hungry at that point. Then Jesus is quoting back there and read here in:

Deuteronomy 8:2 “And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep His commandments, or no.”
Deuteronomy 8:3 “And He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that He might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.”
Deuteronomy 8:4 “Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.”
Deuteronomy 8:5 “Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.”

The LORD protecting the people every step of the way, given them the manna, or angel’s food. Our focus in this flesh life not to be so uptight about our flesh, but more focused on the Word of God and our salvation. That is how we will live eternally, getting to that promised land, to be with the Lord in heaven. The Lord will always provide for us when we are seeking Him in His Word. We have to take the action, do the work and strive at it. The point is this flesh life will soon end, and our concern more on His Word, that manna, in His Word that will keep us from worshipping Satan which that time is in our near future as Jesus warned us in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. When Israel became a nation in 1948 as in Mark 13:28 marking these final days. We have to keep eating His Word every day, meaning really seek Him out and that way we will be able to know what happens and God’s plan, the chain of events before His return. Jesus here showing us the way, overcoming the challenges of the flesh, by focusing on the Word. Moving along:

Hebrews 12:5 “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, “My son, despise not thou the chastening of the LORD, nor faint when thou art rebuked of Him:”
Hebrews 12:6 “For whom the LORD liveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.”

This is quoting from here in Proverbs:

Proverbs 3:1 “My son, forget no my law: But let thine heart keep my commandments:
Proverbs 3:2 “For length of days, and long life, And peace, shall they add to thee.”
Proverbs 3:11 “My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; Neither be weary of His correction:”
Proverbs 3:12 “For whom the LORD loveth He correcteth; Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.”

The correction of the LORD is right there in His Word. So if we know what is pleasing to Him and what is not ahead of time, we know we are trying to make that effort to know Him. That way our lives are easier. Not to say as believers we have easy life, as look at what Jesus went through enduring the cross, not thinking about Himself, but thinking of us that love Him. We don’t have to memorize it, but be familiar with His Word. That way when you are praying and asking for His help with something HE sees that you are making the effort:

Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am He That blotted out thy transgressions for Mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.”
Isaiah 43:26 “Put Me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.”

For God’s sake HE blots out our sins, by His blood, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, because He has lots of compassion and mercy on us that love Him and try to know Him through His Word. When we put Him, meaning His Word, remembering Him. What He did because He loves us, wanting to bless us. But we have to do the work again, knowing in God’s Word where His promises our, so then we can plead together saying look here, Heavenly Father, it says this and HE sees that you are trying. Tell Him how much you really love Him and thank Him, as He is always glad to hear from you! Moving along:

Hebrews 12:7 “If ye endure chastening God dealteth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?”
Hebrews 12:8 “But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.”

When God stops correcting that’s not good, but when He does that shows He loves us. For just like parents, fathers and mothers when they don’t correct their children they will get into trouble having no discipline. That is why we are going through this flesh life the Lord making each one of us better and HE knows what areas we need to have discipline in. The discipline of a parent to a child shows respect and love. Then the way we respect and love Him is by:

Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
fear (Strong’s 3374) fear; moral reverence; (feminine of Strong’s 3373) fearing; moral reverent; afraid; fearful; (from Strong’s 3372) to fear; morally to revere, to frighten, reverence.

When we respect and love His Word then we then begin to have some knowledge of His Word. We cannot say as non-believers I am not sure if God is real or if He hears my prayers, if we don’t have the faith. We have to start somewhere and that is through our faith in His Word. Then the Lord can trust us with His Word seeing our faith and our love and respect for Him and His plan. Put Him first in your life, pray with Him every day and ask for His will in your life so He can lead you and learn more about Him. Moving along:

Hebrews 12:9 “Furthermore, we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?”
Hebrews 12:10 “For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but He for our profit, that we might be partakers of His holiness.”

We in the flesh respect and love our fathers when they corrected us, so why wouldn’t we pay the respect to the Lord? Are we more worried about our flesh life, as we are talking about our eternal lives here, and whether or not we will be blotted out of existence as Satan will be as in Revelation 20:10 at the end of the thousand years, or the Lord’s Day? Our fathers the best they could do in the flesh based on man’s decisions, but He Who has accomplished death giving us the opportunity for eternal life through His Son giving us the way to eternal life through our repentance. Then with His blood covering our sins, not for His benefit, but for our own! The Lord did this willingly coming on as a flesh Son of Man through Abraham’s family as here:

Hebrews 2:14 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; had the power of death, that is, the devil:”
Hebrews 2:15 “And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
Hebrews 2:16 “For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham.”
Hebrews 2:17 “Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.”

Jesus then choosing to come in the flesh not as an Angel of the Lord, that way no person can say to Him you don’t know what it’s like living in the flesh. For HE knows, HE lives this life perfectly according to God’s Word, then fulfilling the one time payment of His life, His painful crucifixion on the cross one time for all sin. He did this for our profit, not for Himself, that we may have the opportunity to live forever with Him! The LORD owns every soul, not our flesh fathers, or parents, as here:

Ezekiel 18:1 “The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,:
Ezekiel 18:2 “What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge?’”
Ezekiel 18:3 “As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.”
Ezekiel 18:4 “Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
Ezekiel 18:5 “But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,”
Ezekiel 18:9 “Hath walked in My statutes, and hath kept My judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.”

Something the fathers or the parents do, their sins, don’t come down on their children. For all souls belong to Him, including our fathers, our mothers, everyone. When we try and seek Him out in His Word, and try to do what is pleasing to Him, keeping the Word as best as we can. Don’t get frustrated for our sins, but we all will sin in life, being happy with the fact that we can be made clean and whole again. Not giving us license to sin, but to be free in life, being happy looking to that time that we get back with Heavenly Father in heaven to live eternally. That is the race we are running for in this flesh life. So be happy, be at rest, knowing when you do your part, HE will get you there! Moving along:

Hebrews 12:11 “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yielded the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.”
chastening (Strong’s 3809) tutorage, i.e. education or training; by disciplinary correction; chastiment; nurture; (from Strong’s 3811) to train a child, i.e. educate, or discipline (by punishment).
When we go through this flesh life may not seem so happy or fun, but it makes us better people in Him through His Word as that is stay our focus. Not our own challenges or things we face here, as this world is temporary. This is a short time here we spend in the flesh, as Jesus the Author He lead us the right way accomplishing eternal life when we hear Him. Hear His Word. The chastening, meaning the education and instruction which also means to nurture, like teaching a child. As we are to come to the Lord knowing that we know nothing! We are His creation and when we have the minds as children do for their fathers when we are young, we can accomplish this. As here:

Matthew 18:1 “At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
Matthew 18:2 “And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them,”
Matthew 18:3 “And said, “Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 18:10 “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of My Father Which in in heaven.”
face (Strong’s 4383) the front, the countenance, aspect, appearance, presence.

When we put aside any pride of we know better or how to get along in life, we may, but when it comes to our eternal salvation Who then knows better than our Creator as we are His creation. When we are as those little children that are going to Him to find out what His Word says or means, not to some religion or church or religious person, but right to His Word, then He can truly use us. Just think our angels have the face, meaning the attention, of God at all times. For HE loves those that love Him and serve Him! Find out more about Him in His Word! He is right there today for you. His Word is the Teacher, putting away men’s traditions and church doctrines what flesh people think, then the Lord can build us up to the level we need to get to. As here:

Matthew 11:28 “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden.”
Matthew 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto you souls.”
Matthew 11:30 “For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”

When we are labouring in His Word, trying to figure out what HE wants us to do here in this life and be pleasing to Him. As remember in Revelation 4:11 everything, including us, were made for His pleasure! We are seeking Him out, trying to find out more, we then come to the reality we really know nothing in the flesh. Maybe to get along in this life, but when it comes to knowing about Him we are ignorant when we look anywhere but to His Word and to Him! Not to religion or men’s doctrines but to His Word. Keeping ourselves humble, knowing this reality, we really can be at peace in life. Then the Lord through His Holy Spirit puts that yoke, meaning to use us as workers in this world to plant the seeds of His Word in the minds of whom He wants us to. Not going door to door or forcing His Word on anyone as some churches and religions do. But rather giving us the Tool, His Word, to know and ground our minds in. That way if someone has a question about the Word of God, or needs some encouragement we know where to look and help them. Moving on:

Hebrews 12:12 “Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;”
Hebrews 12:13 “And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way, and let it rather be healed.”

This is quoting from here:

Isaiah 35:1 “The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.”
Isaiah 35:2 “It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.”
Isaiah 35:3 “Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.”
Isaiah 35:4 “Say to them that are of a fearful heart, “Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; He will come and save you.”

When we go through this life, especially in these end times. With all the things going on in this world, we may get frustrated. Remember that HE is in control, that we have the eternity to look forward to. When His kingdom will be on this earth and the LORD Our God will be with us as here:

Ezekiel 48:35 “It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.”

After the Lord’s Day or that thousand years when discipline of His Word will be taught to the majority of this world as in Revelation 20:8 who will be deceived by Satan when he comes before Jesus as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. The LORD will be with us, but we need to get through this flesh age to get there. Hearing His Word listening to what HE says and not to men and religion. We can be happy and rejoice because as in Hebrews 12:1 they are and will be many who will overcome as here:

Revelation 7:9 “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;”

We are not in this alone, many fighting in heaven as well as in this earth today. Keep talking to Him, praying asking for His help to get you there to that promised land. Then moving along here:

Hebrews 12:14 “Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the LORD:”
Hebrews 12:15 “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;”

Get along with people be peaceful, as best as we can. Following the Example of Jesus as when we don’t see this, we cannot hear and understand His Word. This is quoting from here:

Deuteronomy 29:18 “Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;”
Deuteronomy 29:19 “And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, ‘I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:’”

Then during that time as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4, and this entire world will be in state of apostasy, or going against their own belief, worshipping Satan by peace that is how Satan deceives. As here in Daniel when Satan comes and his small people, meaning a small group or the sons of Cain or Kenites, they easily will get him into his seat in Jerusalem at the mount of Olives:

Daniel 11:23 “And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.”
Daniel 11:24 “He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.”
league (Strong’s 2266) to join, to fascinate, to charm, couple together, fellowship with.
forecast (Strong’s 2803) to plait or interpenetrate, i.e. to weave, to fabricate; to plot or contrive, think, regard, value, compute.
devices (Strong’s 4284) a contrivance, a texture, machine, intention, plan, a plot, cunning work, invented.

Satan then saying he has come to bring world peace and “rapture” everyone out of here. As in Revelation 13 Satan will look exactly like Jesus, able to bring lightning or fire from heaven, able to give you money, wealth, power, anything in the flesh but eternal life as the world’s financial system will be controlled by him. Then through that deception and plotting Satan easily will get into God’s throne as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4 using his children, the sons of Cain or those that say they are Jews or from the tribe of Judah as in Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9. Also let’s go here Matthew 24 as well as Mark 13 and Luke 21, the subject is the Lord‘s return and end of this world:

Matthew 24:1 “And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple.”
Matthew 24:2 “And Jesus said unto them, “See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
Matthew 24:3 “And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the world?”
world (Strong’s 165) properly an age; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world; specifically (Jewish) A Messianic period (present or future).

Not one stone left at the temple for this is where Satan will set up his throne, who those sons of Cain, or Kenites, will get him into his seat peaceably. Then at the Lord’s return that temple Satan will set up, his church on this earth, will be destroyed as we just read in II Peter 3:8-10 at the Lord’s return. The world age ends, we go from the flesh to the spiritual as we cannot get into heaven if we are living in the flesh. Everyone goes there for judgment as how can the Lord judge us if we are not with Him? Then going here:

Matthew 24:4 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, “Take heed that no man deceive you.”
Matthew 24:5 “For many shall come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ;’ and shall deceive many.”
Matthew 24:6 “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all thee things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
Mathew 24:7 ‘For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”
pestilences (Strong’s 3061) a plague (literally the disease, or figuratively a pest); pestilence

The first thing that Jesus warns us about is false teachers. Or those that come in His name, saying they are “Christians”. That is who we are to be warned about, like religion and church doctrines not founded on the Word of God. Any teacher coming to me, this teacher, or anyone else, check them out in His Word for this is your eternal life we are talking about. He is right there for you always through prayer, so ask for His help in understanding something in the Word. Then the opposite of war is peace. Then the closer we get to hearing of peace that is getting closer to the end or end of this world age. Also we see, as we do every day several times a day now in this last generation, the natural disasters. So many earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, tsunamis and so on, it’s old news to us, as the more and more. The famine for hearing the Word of God is the famine today:

Amos 8:11 “Behold the days will come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:”

As here in Mark 13, the same topic the end of this world and the return of Jesus:

Mark 13:7 “And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shalt not be yet.”
Mark 13:8 “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.”
sorrows (Strong’s 5604) a pang or throe, especially of childbirth; (akin to Strong’s 3601) grief (as dejecting) or sorrow

These signs of peace as well as the natural disasters are the birthing pangs, or sorrows, of the birth of a new age. Just like in childbirth, the closer the birth happens the more and more pains and they get closer to each other. We can learn from that as well as the fact that we are in that famine, when it’s so rare. And you are blessed if you find a church or place or worship to be taught God’s Word, following the subject and object, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. The point is that Satan will come before Jesus when we are hearing peace and when these signs and all the events that Jesus describes specifically in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Jesus came to send the sword of the Lord:

Matthew 10:34 “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”

Which is the Word of God which cuts both ways. Correcting us as His children, to where we need to be. As here:

Revelation 19:15 “And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”

When the Lord returns to this earth, not like when He came as Savior. But as Discipliner with His Word of God, Which comes out of His Mouth. So if you want to know you are doing what is right, hear Him, not me, or any other person bringing you God’s Word, or men’s traditions of religion and church doctrines. When the Lord returns and sees that world has lost that discipline for again there is a famine in this world for hearing His Word taught with discipline, HE will not be very happy. That is sword He brought to this world age so we have that Author that Finisher of our faith, Who, loved us all enough. Knowing that none of us would make it in the flesh but only He, Jesus Christ, did it perfectly for then we have an opportunity of salvation through Him, The Word of God. Moving along:

Hebrews 12:16 “Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.”
Hebrews 12:17 “For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.”
Fornicator (Strong’s 4205) (to sell); a (male) prostitute, i.e. a fornicator.

This word here fornicator, meaning a male prostitute. We are talking spiritually here. Anyone that could care less about God and His blessings, His heritage, and turn their back on Him, God is calling them like a male prostitute. Someone that would sell their eternal life for some flesh thing. Remember we are to be a virgin Bride or Wife, as in Revelation 19:7-8, those who are already judged, or married spiritually, meaning we did overcome. We are not to worship Satan when he comes first as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. Just like in Revelation 13:15-17 when Satan controls the world financial system, if you sell your salvation for the flesh, as Satan cannot promise you eternal life, that would not be good, you then liable to perish as Satan will as in Revelation 20:10 at the end of the Lord’s Day, or thousand years. Let’s then go here and see what Esau did, the example used:

Genesis 25:30 “And Esau said to Jacob, “Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint:” therefore was his name called Edom.”
Genesis 25:31 “And Jacob said, “Sell me this day thy birthright.”
Genesis 25:32 “And Esau said, “Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?”
Genesis 25:33 “And Jacob said, “Swear to me this day;” and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.”
Genesis 25:34 “Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.”
Genesis 27:34 “And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, “Bless me, even me also, O my father.”
Genesis 27:35 “And he said, “Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing.”
Genesis 27:38 “And Esau said unto his father, “Hast thou but one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father.” And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.”
Genesis 27:39 “And Issac his father answered and said unto him, “Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;”
Genesis 27:40 “And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.”
Esau (Strong’s 6215) handling; rough (i.e. sensibly felt); (passive participle of Strong’s 6213) to do or make, become , bear, bestow.

Esau was more worried about his flesh life, he wanted the bowl of pottage more than his birthright that he would rightfully have as he was the firstborn. With that the blessings of God. But no! He could care about God and His Word, more concerned about the flesh, that he sold that opportunity of salvation away, by doing this. Esau then went to his flesh father Abraham for a blessing. When he should have been going before the LORD and asking Him for a blessing. Let’s go here:

Romans 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

Again when we put our attention on His Word, not so much on our flesh lives, we are beginning to have understanding of Him and His Word. Moving along:

Hebrews 12:18 “For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,”
Hebrews 12:19 “And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:”
Hebrews 12:20 “(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:”

Jesus already accomplished the Word of God by living a perfect life with no sin. Becoming that Lamb of God, the Passover, Lamb, as here:

I Corinthians 5:7 “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ
our passover is sacrificed for us:”
Passover; (compare Chaldee Strong’s 6453) a pretermission, i.e. exemption; used only technically of the Jewish Passover (the festival or the victim); Passover (offering); (from Strong’s 6452) to hope, i.e. skip over (or spare); by implication to hesitate; also to limp, to dance, leap, pass over.

Before we had the law of Moses and no man could accomplish that. As we learned the priests would have to sanctify their own sins, and continually do this over and over, then go before the LORD for the peoples’ sins. Only Jesus could live a perfect Life according to the Word of God. That anyone or anything touching the Mountain of God had to be stoned or thrust through with a dart as here:

Exodus 19:13 “There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live:’ when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.”

As the Mountain was the Holy Mountain of God. The Angel of the LORD there with Moses giving us the law, or the Word of God. The trumpet sounding when the LORD was there. Even Moses who the LORD trusted as Moses withstood Satan in the first earth age and God knows HE can trust him by his previous actions in the first world age. Using him as a servant to bring forth the law of the Word of God:

Hebrews 12:21 “And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, “I exceedingly fear and quake:”)”

Moses saw the awesomeness of God in the flesh, as here:

Exodus 3:1 “Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.”
Exodus 3:2 “And the Angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.”
Exodus 3:3 “And Moses said, “I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.”
Exodus 3:4 “And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, “Moses, Moses.” And he said, “Here am I.”
Exodus 3:5 “And He said, “Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.”
Exodus 3:6 “Moreover He said, “I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.”
Exodus 3:12 “And He said, “Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.”

When Moses was given the command by GOD through the Angel of the LORD in the burning bush. That ground that the LORD was on was holy ground. And Moses then hiding his face from God, as you imagine what an awesome Sight it would be to see Him through the Angel of the LORD in the flesh. Then that mountain where God brought us The law, or The Word of God for the people of Israel and anyone that believes in His Word and that loves Him:

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God loves us so much the purpose for sending His Son Jesus. That way each person, born in the flesh can decide if they will hear His Word and love Him and He can see if we do by our actions. The law makes us right or corrects us back to Him, where He needs us to be. Moving along:

Hebrews 12:22 “But ye are come unto Mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,”
Hebrews 12:23 “To the general assembly and church of the firstborn which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.”
general assembly (Strong’s 3831) a mass-meeting, i.e. universal companionship; (from Strong’s 3956) all, any, every, whole, and (from derivative of Strong’s 58) to gather; the town-square (as a place of public resort); a market or thoroughfare
firstborn (Strong’s 4416) first-born (usually as non); first begotten; (from Strong’s 4413) foremost (time, place, order of importance), and (from alt of Strong’s 5088) to produce (from seed, as a mother, plant, the earth); be delivered, bring forth.

Mount Zion at the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem where Jesus’s feet will stand after Satan comes first saying he is God as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. The general assembly meeting a mass meeting of witnesses as remember that cloud of witnesses in Hebrews 12:1, so great you cannot count them all! Again, God is the Judge of us all. So if you have lots of challenges in life and know why, check yourself and see if you have been asking for His help. Praying and talking with Him, and trying to find out what HE wants you to do in His Word. Those firstborn, just as Jesus, for they overcame in the first earth age. The election they withstood Satan and did not worship him, and fought with God against him, as in Revelation 19:4, the one third that were deceived by Satan. Those are who we are here for today, so that the Lord can use our lives to help out whomever HE wants for only He knows our hearts, or our minds. Let’s go here:

Colossians 1:15 “Who is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of every creature:”
Colossians 1:18 “And He is the head of the body, the church: Who is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.”
creature (Strong’s 2937) original formation; building, creation, creature, ordinance.

Jesus Christ is the Head of the many membered body of Christ, His people that love Him and serve Him. So if some church or religion says you have to belong to them as members, what does it say right here in Colossians 1:18? Jesus the Lord is the Head of the body, meaning not some church organization, but over the people that love His Word and are trying to do right by His Word. Then also here:

I Corinthians 15:20 “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.”
I Corinthians 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”
I Corinthians 15:23 “But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they are Christ’s at His coming.”
I Corinthians 15:24 “Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.”

As Jesus then tasted death, and lived a perfect life for us all so that we, too, can have eternal life. in the flesh life, or by man, or Adam, we cannot do it. We will not be able to live a perfect flesh life as according to law. Only Jesus did! When the end of the Lord’s Day, or the thousand years, which comes when Jesus stands after Satan has his short kingdom on earth and the entire world worships him as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4, that is the eternity. We have to get through this flesh world first, then the Lord’s Day, or thousand years, to get there. Why do it right now in the flesh? Hear His Word of God, not my words, but His Word. There is nothing to fear as God’s election we have power over all enemies, including Satan, in the flesh:

Luke 10:17 “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, “Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through Thy name.”
Luke 10:18 “And He said unto them, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”
Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Luke 10:20 “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”

We should rejoice, be very happy, as judgment has already been made according to our previous actions. Rest in His Word, be at peace and enjoy His Blessings. For HE will bless and wants to if you keep on trying in life. Moving here:

Revelation 19:7 “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.”
Revelation 19:8 “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”

The election being those that overcame in the first world age. They did not worship Satan, as here they are already called His wife, not Bride, as those with free will. Our righteous actions, or our actions on this earth which our sins have been righted by the blood of Christ, when we repent in His Name to Heavenly Father. Moving along:

Hebrews 12:24 “And to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
Hebrews 12:25 “See that ye refuse not Him That speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused Him That spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from Him That speaketh from heaven:”

The blood of righteous Abel cried out vengeance, as Cain murdered him:

Genesis 4:8 “And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and slew him.”
Genesis 4:9 “And the LORD said unto Cain, “Where is Abel thy brother?” And he said, “I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?”
Genesis 4:10 “And He said, “What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto Me from the ground.”

Cain killed Abel listening to his father, the devil, as he is the serpent’s seed, or child, as in Genesis 3:15, trying to stop that woman‘s Seed, Jesus Who and did come. Defeating death or the power of death, meaning to perish, be blotted out of existence. For if Jesus did not come, Satan would not be subject to perish, as he will at the end of the Lord‘s Day as here:

Revelation 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast in to the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

The devil the son of perdition of II Thessalonians 2:3-4. Abel’s blood then cried out for payment or vengeance and rightfully so. But then the Lord brought better things, that is the gift of eternal life for anyone that loves Him and believes His Word of God. Moving along:

Hebrews 12:26 “Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.”

God’s wrath which the Lord Jesus will pour out onto this earth when the majority as in Revelation 20:8 who will worship Satan when he comes first, will shake not only earth, but heaven as well. As quoting from here:

Haggai 2:6 “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; ‘Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;”
Haggai 2:7 “And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Hebrews 12:27 “And this word, “Yet once more,” signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”

The change of the ages, ending this world age, then bringing in the Lord’s Day where discipline of the Word of God will be taught to those that will liable for the second death, or liable to perish as Satan will as in Revelation 20:10, as in Revelation 20:6 those election who will overcome are very blessed:

Revelation 20:6 “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

The Lord will use them as teachers and judgment of His Word as also in Ezekiel 44 in great detail we learn. Then also here:

Isaiah 13:9 “Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.”
Isaiah 13:13 “Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger.”

The heaven and the earth, the flesh age ends, then bringing the Lord’s Day. That time of instruction of His Word with discipline. For Satan will be there, he alone, no role of false Jesus or one world kingdom can be used as those roles are destroyed at the Lord’s return as in Revelation 19:20. Then let’s go here:

Joel 3:16 “The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of His People, and the strength of the children of Israel.”

The LORD is our hope. We all look forward to that time when we are with Him. The point is both heavens and earth will shake, but don’t let your faith in HIS WORD shake in these last days. Moving along:

Hebrews 12:28 “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:”
Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a consuming fire.”

That kingdom is world without end, it never ends! It is eternal, and we can keep our race here in the flesh even happier and better when we focus on His Word and what we have to look forward to. So relax, go to Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus Christ and ask that He forgive your sins, go sincerely, because He already knows what you’re thinking! Be real with Him, He will help you learn. And then finishing up here:

Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a consuming fire.”

His Word of God is truth that touches our minds and keeps us straight. Not the smoke that will come out of Satan’s mouth as in Revelation 9:18-19 the smoke, and brimstone out of Satan and his fallen angel army when they come before Jesus as here:

Revelation 12:7 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,”
Revelation 12:8 “And prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.”
Revelation 12:9 “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world, and his angels were cast out with him.”

We can rejoice right now today as those of us that understand His Word and He has opened up our minds to His Word are very blessed. Thank Him for the Word and ask that HE help you. The Lord loves you so much, and so do I! Keep in His Word everyday as that is our gospel armor of Ephesians 6:11 that will keep us safe when Satan comes before Jesus. We can do this only through His Word!
