In me there is a spring that wells up in me
A spring that gives me the strength to be
As I wake each day the mystery begins
Deep down I draw from it as it lends
A reflection, a light I hope you’ll see.
Each of us are born with this inner well
Behind the mask that hides; our veil
The mystery for us to find is all around
Listen closely, listen to the quite sound
A whisper that comes from high above
Like the wind that blows the spring flows
Not seen by human eye, our life owes
The sound that comes from within
A knock from above, let me in
You will not thirst with living water.
