There once was a prophet
Yet he was not a son of a prophet
But a shepherd from the fields
The Lord's voice Roared from Zion
Judgment Is Coming
And Amos saw and heard the Voice of the Lord
The long suffering of the Lord had ended
For Truth and Justice were no longer in the courts
And the sacrifices went to the peoples idols
You come to worship, says the Lord
But you can't wait til it's over
So you can go back to business
You mix grain with chaff swept from the floor
You cheat the poor, thinking little of it
You ask for no more preaching or words of prophesy
