God, give me strength this day to do your will.
First, help me to understand your will.
I want to be used by you.
I need to be made to be willing to be used by you.
What in my life is taking the place where you should be?
Take away my props I need to pray
but am hesitantly afraid to ask
because I know you hear and answer my prayers.
Bring me to a place where I know you are all I need.
I think I can work for you without you.
In your service today and always
is where you’ve called me to be.
Who am I serving instead of you?
What do I let control me and keep me useless in your army?
I am filled with self.
Empty me until I know you are my all in all,
until I know you are indeed my sufficiency.
