Hebrews Part 10

1 of 2

We are continuing on here in Hebrews Chapter 10. The subject of this chapter is that the LORD God wants our love, or our mercy, not the blood sacrifices and offerings. As those things were done out of respect to the God for obeying His Word. As here:

Hosea 6:6 “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”
Hosea 6:7 “But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against Me.”

Just like our loved ones, our family and our friends, we don’t want to force ourselves on them. We want them to come willingly to us, to love us, so does the LORD God. Through His Word we had that Teacher, that example in the burnt offerings and sacrifice of the better Sacrifice to come, Jesus as here:

I Corinthians 5:7 “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:”
I Corinthians 5:8 “Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”
Christ (Strong’s 5547) anointed, i.e. the Messiah, an epithet of Jesus, Christ; (from Strong’s 5548) to smear or rub with oil, i.e. to consecrate to an office or religious service; anoint.
passover (Strong’s 3957) the Passover (the meal, the day, the festival or the special sacrifices connected with it); Easter, Passover; (compare Chaldee Strong’s 6453) a pretermission, i.e. exemption; used only technically of the Jewish Passover (the festival or the victim); Passover (offering); (from Strong’s 6452) to hope, i.e. skip over (or spare); by implication to hesitate; also to limp, to dance, leap, pass over.

Christ, meaning the anointed One is our Passover, meaning the Sacrifice, one time for all sin for all that believe on Him and His Word. Then the old leaven, or symbolic of sin, and our lives a new lump healed. We begin again, when we ask Heavenly Father in the Name of His Son Jesus to forgive us giving the opportunity to be free. Start fresh, and try to sin no more as best as we can according to His Word. How do we do this? We love and respect His Word and that begins then God’s Word to open up our minds as here:

Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: But fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

Again, the LORD God will use those that make an effort, remember as in Revelation 10:9, we have to take the little book, The Word of God. Open it up and try to understand. We cannot just say oh, I’m saved or I am a Christian, and that’s it! Where is our faith then. Let‘s take a short trip here over to the book of James here. The subject here how to treat people especially in the congregations as well as in every day life:

James 2:1   “My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.”
James 2:2   “For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;”
James 2:3   “And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, “Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, “Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:”

As here just as the Lord has no respect of persons, meaning if you are from a certain family, race, nationality, financial status and so forth, He loves you based on your actions. Not who you are in this world. Then as here in the assemblies so like in church or at the meetings of the many membered body of Christ, don’t favor someone in your church because they can give you lots of funding! Now we have the subject then let’s get to why we came here.

James 2:14   “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?”
James 2:15   “If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,”
James 2:16   “And one of you say unto them, “Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?”
James 2:17   “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

Any person could say, “I am a Christian” or “I am saved”, but if we have nothing to prove that faith, then our words are empty. Just like anything for that fact, to use a popular phrase “actions speak louder than words”. If someone needs some help and you just say, “oh, I’ll pray for you” and then leave them, what is that? Even more deeply, if a person is naked, speaking spiritually, and no encouragement from God’s Word is not given, and you just say “I’ll pray for you”, what is that? That’s why we have to do our work, know His Word, so then the Lord can use us when HE needs us to encourage others. For example, right here if you encouraged that person, instead of saying “oh, I’ll pray for you, goodbye” with what Jesus said here:

Matthew 6:31 “Therefore take no thought, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or, ‘What shall we drink? Or, ‘Wherewithal shall we be clothed?’”
Matthew 6:32 “(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”
Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 6:34 “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

God is control and knows exactly what His people need. We have to do our part though. Once we seek His kingdom, the King and His dominion, which HE owns everything, meaning His Word, then HE will bless us. Giving us the strength, encouragement and faith to be successful. No reason to have thought, or even to worry about what happens tomorrow. Each day has it’s challenges so enjoy each day. Now back to the point why we came here:

James 2:18   “Yea, a man may say, “Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.”
James 2:19   “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
devils (Strong’s 1140) a demonic being; a deity, devil, god. (a derivative of Strong’s 1142) a demon or supernatural spirit (of a bad nature); devil.

Even the devils, meaning the evil spirits, know Who the Lord Jesus is. They believe in God, but what does that say? Not much, right? But through our works, our righteous actions, that shows our faith in the LORD God and His Word. Here is an example of the demons that knew the Lord Jesus when they saw Him:

Matthew 8:29 “And when He was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.”
Matthew 8:30 “And, behold, they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of God? art Thou come hither to torment us before the time?”
Matthew 8:31 “So the devils besought Him, saying, “If Thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.”
Matthew 8:32 “And He said unto them, “Go.” And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.”
Matthew 8:33 “And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told everything, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.”
Matthew 8:34 “And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw Him, they besought Him that He would depart out of their coasts.”
devils (Strong’s 1142) a demon or supernatural spirit (of a bad nature); devil
Gergesenes (Strong’s 1086) a Gergesene (i.e. Girgashite); (from Hebrew Strong’s 1622) a Girgashite, one of the native tribes of Canaan;

These evil spirits knew the Lord, so again what does that say about people that say “I have faith” or “I am saved”. So what?: That’s good, that a first step in knowing the Lord, when His very Name means the Word of God as in Revelation 19:13. But once we crack that Bible open, start making an effort, then God sees that He can trust us, that HE can use us in His plan whether it is to plant seeds of His Word, or teach, or prophesy, or encourage others, or whatever gifts that He has blessed you with. We have to take responsibility and know Him by knowing His Word. These evil spirits would rather going into the lowest carnal flesh, or unclean, flesh, the swine, but the swine did not even want them in them and killed themselves. Because the evil spirits knew if Jesus sent them where to heaven back to that gulf as in Luke Chapter 16. The point again is even those evil spirits knew Jesus, so what if we say we are a “Christian” or “are saved”, if we never get around to finding out more about Him! The most important example here Jesus is teaching Peter, who He renamed Simon, to Peter, in the Greek Petra, means small rock, on which HE, Jesus, the Rock, would found His church. As here if we love the Lord, we are to do this:

John 21:15 “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me more than these? He saith unto Him, “Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee.” He saith unto him, “Feed My lambs.”

Jesus then here says if you love Me, help My children, or my young sheep or lambs out. Teach them the Word, encourage them. This is on the first level. Then again, Jesus ask another question:

John 21:16 “He saith to him again the second time, “Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me?” He saith unto Him, “Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee.” He saith unto him, “Feed My sheep.”

Jesus asks Simon Peter if he loves the Lord. Peter says of course I do. Then Jesus says again, take the action, and show Me! How? By teaching His more mature sheep. We do this by knowing His Word, learning it so then God can use us to do His Will. Then finally the third time here, Jesus asks Peter the same question, here:

John 21:17 “He saith unto him the third time, “Lovest thou Me?” And he said unto Him, “Lord, knowest that I love Thee.” Jesus saith unto him, “Feed My sheep.”

Peter responds again saying yes, he does love the Lord. Then Jesus saying if you teach My sheep, the most mature sheep, or God’s election, then you show you love Me by your actions. Here Jesus was not repeating the same thing three times, but rather saying teach My people on all three levels, that way each person can learn from the starting point they are at in their learning The Word of God. Now let’s get into this here in Hebrews. Having that shadow, the law and the prophets, of the Good Thing to Come, Who is Jesus:

Hebrews 10:1 “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually, make the comers thereunto perfect.”
shadow (Strong’s 4639) “shade” or a shadow (darkness of error or an adumbration, or a sketchy outline)

The law then that outline or foreshadowing of what good thing, that is again, Our Passover Lamb, Jesus Who would and then did come. Fulfilling that law by His one time Sacrifice, serving up Himself for our sins, not His as He is perfect, without sin, fulfilling the law:

Colossians 2:13 “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”
Colossians 2:14 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;”

The law is still in effect, as Jesus then became that Sacrifice that fulfilled The Word of God. Then Jesus resurrected or was quickened, brought to eternal life through His faith, His most righteous action of giving of His life one time for all sin. That way all of us, everyone who is in the flesh will sin, and His blood then covers us fulfilling the law. Then let’s go here:

Colossians 2:17 “Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”

Again, that Jesus, His Body, that one time Sacrifice is then the outline of even better things to come in the eternity. We are to learn by example through the Word of God as here:

I Corinthians 10:11 “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”
I Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”
I Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
I Corinthians 10:14 “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”
ensamples (Strong’s 5179) a die (as struck), i.e. a stamp, or scar; a shape, a statue, style or resemblance; a sample (“type”), i.e. a model (for imitation) or instance (for warning); example, fashion, figure, form, manner, pattern, print; (from Strong’s 5180) to “thump”, i.e. cudgel or pummel (with a stick or bastinado, or a beating given on the soles of the feet), but in any case by repeated blows; not a single blow with the hand or any instrument; by implication to punish; to offend (the conscience); beat, smite, strike, wound.

All the events in God’s Word, God giving us the examples, over and over again, trying to give each one of us many teachers in His Word so we don’t miss the mark, or miss the boat. The most important reason in these end times, so we don’t get deceived by idolatry, which is anything not in God’s Word. That is how Satan works best through deceiving with the Word of God, so we really need to know it. Then the word “ensamples” here means a warning, and the base to thump for instruction or even to offend the conscience. That way when we know we are going the wrong way, or further from what is right, which is His Word, we have that guideline, again His Word. This same word “ensamples” is used here as “figure” (Strong’s 5179):

Romans 5:14 “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam‘s transgression, who is the figure of Him That was to come.”

Before Moses, or before we had the law, or the Word of God, we were all liable to perish, or death. The reason because any person, as both Adam and Eve sinned in the flesh, we all will at some time or another. Then through Adam and Eve, their genealogy, all nations, all peoples, all languages, they all have then the opportunity for eternal life through Jesus Who did come from Adam as here:

Luke 3:23 “And Jesus Himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the Son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,”
Luke 3:31 “Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David.”
Luke 3:32 “Which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Booz, which was the son of Salmon, which was the son of Naason,”
Luke 3:38 “Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.”

So from Adam’s family did come Jesus, here Mary’s mother’s family line, as through Jesse, David, and then Nathan, not Solomon, as this is the priest, or Levite line. The point is that God had a plan at the very beginning of the foundation of this world age. As we learned in Genesis Chapter 14, Jesus the High Priest of the MOST HIGH GOD, King of Righteousness or in the Hebrew, Melchisedec and here as well:

Hebrews 7:20 “And inasmuch as not without an oath He was made Priest:”
Hebrews 7:21 “(For those priests were made without an oath; but This with an oath by Him That said unto Him, “The LORD sware and will not repent, Thou art a Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:”)”
Melchisedec (Strong‘s 3198) Melchizedek; (from Hebrew Strong’s 4442) king of right; Malki-Tsedek; (from Strong’s 4428) a king; (from Strong’s 4427) to reign; to ascend the throne; to induct into royalty, to take counsel, and (from Strong’s 6664) the right; equity; prosperity; justice, righteous. (from Strong’s 6663) to be right (in a moral or forensic, legal sense), cleanse, clear self, do just or righteous.

Jesus Christ was at the beginning of God’s plan of salvation. Right at the beginning of the foundation of this world. Nothing new or nothing in addition. As not like according to the law of Moses that the priests had no oath, but the LORD God swore, meaning made His oath, according to His Word! Not to man’s as here:

Psalms 110:4 “The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Mechizedek.”

Dear God is quoting right on His Word, no higher an oath than His own Word! So how can we doubt Him, or worry or be afraid about what will happen, because HE already has told us this beforehand.

Hebrews 8:5 “Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, “See,” saith He, “that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.”
shadow (Strong’s 4639) “shade” or a shadow (darkness of error or an adumbration, to foreshadow vaguely).
pattern (Strong’s 5179) a die (as struck), i.e. a stamp, or scar; a shape, a statue, style or resemblance; a sample (“type”), i.e. a model (for imitation)) or instance (for warning); example, fashion, figure, form, manner, pattern, print; (from Strong’s 5180) to “thump”, i.e. cudgel or pummel (with a stick or bastinado, or a beating given on the soles of the feet), but in any case by repeated blows; not a single blow with the hand or any instrument; by implication to punish; to offend (the conscience); beat, smite, strike, wound.
comers (Strong’s 4334) to approach, i.e. come near, visit, or worship, assent to.

Again here the LORD God giving us a shadow, or a vague example, of something even better to come, His tabernacle, giving us the details about His plan, not keeping anything from those of us that serve Him and love Him! Moving along:

Hebrews 10:2 “For then would they not have ceased to be offered, because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins?”
Hebrews 10:3 “But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.”
Hebrews 10:4 “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.”
Hebrews 10:5 “Wherefore when He cometh into the world, He saith, “Sacrifice and offering Thou wouldest not, but a body hast Thou prepared Me:”
Hebrews 10:6 “In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin Thou hast had no pleasure.”
Hebrews 10:7 “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me) to do Thy will, O God.”
Volume (Strong’s 2777) a knob, i.e. a roll; from the end of a stick on which the Manuscript (the Word of God) was rolled); (from Strong’s 2776) the head (as the part most readily taken hold of.

So then before Jesus, when we had the law, the priests had to continually give up the sacrifice and offerings according the Word of God according to the law of that HE gave to Moses, then now with Our Lord Jesus Christ, all sin was nailed to His cross for our sins when we repent to Our Heavenly Father in His Name. Jesus gave up His life one time, for all sin forever, so no continual sacrifice and offering, like the blood of lambs and goats. Jesus did then come in the volume of the book, meaning HE, Himself, His body, became that one time Sacrifice satisfying to the LORD God once for all of our sins as only He is perfect. So any offerings today like blood sacrifices, circumcision, not required by the law, and an abomination to God as there is nothing we could offer the LORD God, as only His Son, Jesus, is perfect and without sin. The word “volume” here means the roll as they used to roll the Word of God or the manuscripts and the base meaning the head. Jesus Christ is that Head of that Book, His Word is His name:

Revelation 19:13 “And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.”

Hebrews 10:7 is quoting from here in Psalms:

Psalms 40:1 “(A Psalm of David.) I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.”
Psalms 40:6 “Sacrifice and offering Thou didst not desire; Mine ears hast thou opened: Burnt offering and sin offering hast Thou not required”
Psalms 40:7 “Then said I, “Lo, I come: In the volume of the book it is written of me,”
volume (Strong’s 4039) a roll, volume; (from Strong’s 1556) to roll, commit, remove, roll (away), seek occasion, trust.

The LORD God wants our love and our mercy as we talked about in Hosea 6:6. HE will never force Himself on anyone, and it is up to each one of us to come to Him because we love Him and His Word. Again The LORD God wanted our love. As here David crying out to the Lord, through His family’s genealogy did the Volume of the Book, Jesus Christ come, as we read in Luke Chapter 3. When we continually stick with Heavenly Father, talk to Him, as guess what, HE already knows the challenges you are facing. Ask for His help, and diligently seek Him out in His Word, and HE will be there for you! Then God’s promise to us was fulfilled when Jesus Christ did come in the volume of the Book, the tree of life, Himself, as in Genesis 2, given one time for all sin. Let’s then also go here:

Acts 10:39 “And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; Whom they slew and hanged on a tree:”
Acts 10:40 “Him God raised up the third day, and shewed Him openly;”
Acts 10:41 “Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with Him after He rose from the dead.”
Acts 10:42 “And He commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is He Which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.”

Jesus did come in the volume of the book, or according to the Word of God that HE foretold us way beforehand. Like in Psalms 22, the Psalms that Jesus is quoting on the cross to us right before He dies in the flesh, overcoming the power of death, or the devil, as in Hebrews 2:14. Jesus then according to that Tree, the Word of God, let’s get deep here. Books have spines. Just why as here in God’s Word, trees are used to describe people symbolically:

Mark 8:24 “And he looked up, and said, “I see men as trees, walking.”
Mark 8:25 “After that He put His hands again upon his eyes, and make him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.”

This blind man Jesus healed his flesh vision as well as his spiritual vision. The point trees are used in the Word of God for people, as Jesus then the Word of God was hanged on the tree, His cross, that He was nailed upon for all our sins one time only forever. Moving along here:

Hebrews 10:8 “Above when He said, “Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin Thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein:” which are offered by the law;”
Hebrews 10:9 “Then said He, “Lo, I come to do Thy will, O God.” He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second.”
Again as we just read in Psalms 40:6-7 as this is quoting here, those offerings the LORD God did not have pleasured in them, but again God wants His children’s love willingly. That means as some churches and religions do we can never force His Word on anyone. That is not true love, for God wants our willingness to love Him and respect His Word. Moving along:

Hebrews 10:10 “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Hebrews 10:11 “And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:”
Hebrews 10:12 “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;”
Hebrews 10:13 “From henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool.”

Then by God’s will we are sanctified, or our sins and transgressions from the Word of God, when we ask Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, His Son, are blotted out as though they never existed. We then are made fresh so without sin, however, we continually must go back to Heavenly Father, and repent with sincerity and just be real with Him. We will all sin and continue to sin as long as we live in a flesh body. The key is to repent, sin no more, and stay a little bit each day in His Word and talk with Him through prayer so you are stronger in the flesh. Not to say because of the Lord’s mercy and grace we are to continually sin, no way! But rather, not be on some guilt trip thinking that we can never accomplish anything in this life because of sin, for again, all people will sin at one time or another. His enemies will put at His footstool, that is to say, both you and I and God’s election who will withstand against Satan when he comes to this earth before Jesus as here:

Psalms 110:1 “(A Psalm of David.) The LORD said unto my Lord, “Sit Thou at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool.”

Jesus is sitting on God’s throne today. We can relax, rejoice, but also be ready and geared up, covered in His Word as here:

Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Ephesians 6:13 “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
armour (Strong’s 3833) full armor (“panoply” or full suit of armor, protective cover or ceremonial attire); (from Strong’s 3956) all, any, every, the hole, and (from Strong’s 3696) an implement or utensil or tool (especially offensive for war).
wiles (Strong’s 3180) travelling over, travesty or ridicule (trickery), lie in wait;
wrestle (Strong’s 2076) he, she or it, and (Strong’s 3823) (to vibrate; another form for Strong’s 906), to throw, strike or thrust; wrestling
principalities (Strong’s 746) (a commencement, or chief, corner, magistrate, principality, rule. (From Strong’s 756) (through the implication of precedence) to commence (in order of time);
powers (Strong’s 1849) privilege, i.e. force, capacity, competency, mastery, superhuman, potentate or one who wields great power, token of control, influence.
high places (Strong’s 2032) above the sky, celestial, heavenly, (from Strong’s 1909) superimposition, of direction, and (from Strong’s 3772) (through the idea of elevation) the sky, happiness, power, eternity; specifically the Gospel (Christianity);
day (Strong’s 2250) (to sit; akin to base Strong’s 1476) meaning tame, i.e. gentle; day, i.e. the time space between dawn and dark, or the whole 24 hours; figurative a period.
wicked (Strong’s 4190) hurtful, i.e. evil (in effect or influence, and thus differing from Strong’s 2556, which refers rather to essential character); figurative calamitous; i.e. ill, diseased; culpable, i.e. derelict, vicious, facinorous, or atrociously wicked, mischief, malice, guilt; the devil, or sinners.

That devil who is Satan as in Revelation 12:9 and 20:2. Not some physical war here on earth but our spiritual high places, meaning in heaven, for that is where Satan and his fallen angels are being held today before their release. That is why we need this Word of God, locked and loaded in our minds so we are not deceived and so we can warn those that God sends us to. That evil day will be when Satan sits in God’s throne claiming to be God as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4, and the world will be deceived, the majority, by Satan. Moving along:

Hebrews 10:14 “For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
Hebrews 10:15 “Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that He had said before.”

That one offering, His life, His perfect life lived without sin in the flesh when Jesus came here as Emmanuel, or God with us:

Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

Exactly as the LORD God’s Word had told us beforehand, Jesus did come with us in the flesh as here:

Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the LORD Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Immanuel (Strong’s 6005) with us (is) God; (from Strong’s 6006) to load, i.e. impose a burden, be borne, (heavy) burden, lade, load, put; and (from Strong’s 3050) Jah, the sacred name: the Lord, most vehement.

Mary his flesh mother, Jesus then the Son of God, living that perfect life, HE that one time only Sacrifice for all sins. Moving along:

Hebrews 10:16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the LORD; I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;”
Hebrews 10:17 “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”

The future promise at the Lord’s Day, when Jesus comes to this earth and all flesh then changes to the spiritual bodies, this is after Satan comes first as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4, as here:

I Corinthians 15:40 “There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”
I Corinthians 15:50 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
I Corinthians 15:51 “Behold, I shew a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,”
I Corinthians 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
I Corinthians 15:53 “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”
I Corinthians 15:54 “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
I Corinthians 15:55 “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
I Corinthians 15:56 “The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.“
I Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, Which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
terrestrial (Strong’s 1919) worldly; earthly, in earth.
celestial (Strong’s 2032) above the sky, celestial, heavenly.

The point then we then will be in the spiritual bodies at that point, as the Lord will set up His permanent kingdom here on this earth. Jesus returns when we are in the celestial, or spiritual body, so if you are in the flesh it is Satan, his enemy, here on earth as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4 not Jesus. The last trumpet, or the seventh trumpet of Revelation 11:15 is when the Lord appears, all souls, both good and bad. Those with liable to perish, or mortal souls, as well as God’s election who are already judged, we all go to the Lord for judgment. We have that victory today in Jesus Christ as He is sitting on the right hand of God in heaven. So repent, be real with God, so very sincere, and sin no more. Be free and happy, it’s over! You’ll remember that sin, but have the faith knowing that the Lord’s blood is able to cleanse that sin from you. We will remember those sins, though, so we don’t make the same mistakes again, but don’t beat yourself over them, and be happy. This is quoting from here in Hebrews 10:16-17:

Jeremiah 31:31 “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:”
Jeremiah 31:32 “Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers I the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:”
Jeremiah 31:33 “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My People.”
Jeremiah 31:34 “And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD:’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

That again happens on the first day of the thousand years, or the Lord’s Day, as here:

II Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

When Jesus stand at the Mount of Olives as in Zechariah 14:4 as well as in Acts 1:9-12. Not according then as in Jeremiah 31:32 to the law and the prophets, or the Old Testament, but to the New Testament, or when Jesus gave up His life on the cross one time willingly for all sin. He then became that Husband to those that love Him and His Word, spiritually. Then during that period of the Lord’s Day or thousand years, as in Revelation 20:4 and in Ezekiel Chapter 44, we will all know His Word, but there Satan alone can deceive using boredom, fear, but no use of the false prophet role or the first beast, meaning the one world political system, in which he can pay off all debts and buy you off, as in Revelation 13:11-17. Both of those roles then destroyed at Jesus’s return as in Revelation 19:20, but Satan then reserved by the Lord until the end of the Lord’s Day, or the thousand years as in Revelation 20:2. Moving along here:

Hebrews 10:18 “Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.”
Hebrews 10:19 “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,”
Hebrews 10:20 “By a new and living way which He hath consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;”

When we go to Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, the remission, or the sins that we do in the flesh in which we ask for His forgiveness. Remember Heavenly Father will not automatically do this, but us, through our faith, have to go to Him, in the name of Jesus Christ, showing our faith in Him and His Word, then those sins are blotted out of existence. We then can boldly go to Heavenly Father directly, not as before Jesus Christ, when the high priests and priest, not only had to offer up sacrifices for their own sins in order to represent the congregation, but then did the action for the people. His flesh then overcame the power of death, which is perdition, as Satan is the son of perdition, meaning the son sentenced to perish or be blotted out as in Revelation 20:10 as well as in Ezekiel 28:18-19 and in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. Then let’s go here:

Psalms 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff comfort me.”

Our shadow of death is our flesh life. When we go through this life, our faith, His Word of God, let’s us know He is with us. God is real, His Word a Reality, not some religion or church, but Truth! His rod, as the Shepherd clubs the enemies that attack His sheep, and His staff, His Word of God, The Guide, to this flesh life that we all need to be successful and have an opportunity to live eternally. Jesus here then ripped that veil in the Holy of Holies, remembered we learned the place each year once the high priest went in wearing bells on his garment so the other priests would know whether or not he lived or not as here:

Luke 23:45 “And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the Temple was rent in the midst.”
Luke 23:46 “And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, He said, “Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit:” and having said thus, He gave up the ghost.”
Ghost (Strong’s 4151) a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, vital principle, mental disposition, (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit.

Then when Jesus here did give up the flesh life, His spirit to Heavenly Father. That veil, meaning that door to our Heavenly Father is open forever for any flesh person wanting to talk with Him or pray with Him. We don’t need to go through our religion, or our church leaders, like priests, reverends, or anyone else, but we can go in there by ourselves. The Lord loving us that much wanting us to come to Him willingly. Just like we cannot force our family or our friends to love us, for that would not be true love, right? We willingly take action. Remember as in Revelation 10 take the little book, meaning The Word of God, the instruction manual for this flesh life. Talk with Him and ask that He help you understand His Word for He is there. Keep on trying, as I try as well, every day, and that day will be even better! I love you so much, and the Lord does too!
