Hebrews Part 9

1 of 2

We are continuing along here in the book of Hebrews, written to those people of Israel who are scattered today, so they would have had the Word of God, or the law and the prophets, The Old Testament, to us today. Remember God‘s Word is open to anyone, or whosoever, believes in His Word:

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:17 “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”

The LORD God sent His Son Jesus Christ, not to condemn us in this world age living in the flesh. But rather wants us all to come to repentance. We have to know His Word, though people, so let’s get into this now here. We will now look at what came before, or God‘s tabernacle, as we are to learn from these many examples for we live in the end times:

I Corinthians 10:11 “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”
I Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”
I Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
I Corinthians 10:14 “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”

They are written, not for God to fill up pages in His Word, but to teach us over and over again, loving us and warning us that Satan will come first and then Jesus. We live in that final generation of the fig tree, or when the end of this world age ends, as in I Corinthians 15:52, at the last trumpet of Revelation 11:15, all flesh goes to the spiritual bodies, or celestial bodies, as the Lord will set up His kingdom here on earth. The reason right now we live in the flesh is as God’s Word has already commanded us to read what is pleasing to God as here:

Revelation 4:11 “Thou art worthy, “O LORD, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.”
pleasure (Strong’s 2307) a determination (properly the thing), i.e. choice (specific purpose, decree; volition or conscious choice) or inclination; desire, pleasure, will.

You want to be in God’s will or doing what pleases Him, remember listen to His Word, not my words, or some religion’s words, but the Word of God that HE has forteold us ahead of time so we don’t get into trouble. The main purpose we are warned in I Corinthians 10:14 is that we are to flee, meaning run, when something does not align with the Word of God has foretold us, for guess what? It’s not from God, but man, men’s traditions, religion and church doctrines. The way Satan will rob, steal and destroy, not your flesh life, but the opportunity for our eternal souls to not perish, or be fully destroyed, as his will, is by twisting the Word of God, Jesus showing us the way here:

Luke 4:1 “And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,”
Luke 4:2 “Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days He did eat nothing: and when they were ended, He afterward hungered.”
Luke 4:3 “And the devil said unto Him, “If Thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.”
Luke 4:4 “And Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”

Right at the beginning of Jesus’ ministry or teaching the People the Word of God, The LORD God shows us His example, going through the wilderness, or away from God into this world. Then Jesus giving us the example of starving Himself of flesh food for the forty days, showing us HE did this perfectly. Even deeper, here Jesus teaching us He spent that time with Heavenly Father, fasting from the food of men’s traditions and religion, so that when Satan, as the wilderness represented in stead of the green growth or life, as this world will soon be a spiritual wilderness when Satan sits as God and claims to be God on His throne in Jerusalem at the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, before the Lord returns as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. Jesus is quoting from way back in the Old Testament saying to us go back there and read here in:

Deuteronomy 8:2 “And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep His commandments, or no.”
Deuteronomy 8:3 “And He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that He might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.”
Deuteronomy 8:4 “Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.”
Deuteronomy 8:5 “Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.”

Here Jesus not only reminding us of this, but then of the ensamples, or example in God’s Word, of why the people of Israel were taken through that wilderness for forty years, symbolic of probation, giving us a message that when we do go through that end time when Satan sits on God’s throne and claims to be God, HE will provide. The way HE did it before was with the manna, or angel’s food. We have nothing to be worried or afraid us, especially as God’s election, those that withstood Satan in the first earth age, as well in this age will do the same thing, when as here, the subject how we get back with Jesus when He returns to this earth. We don‘t get “raptured“ as God is against this here:

Ezekiel 13:20 “Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; ‘Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.”

We are then warned to not let any person, religion, church, spirits as evil spirits can get into people and then especially that first letter or I Thessalonians Chapter 4, which many churches today twist this into a “rapture” or “fly away” teaching as they either are ignorant of God’s Word or they have not been taught here:

II Thessalonians 2:1 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him.”
II Thessalonians 2:2 “That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”
II Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,”
II Thessalonians 2:4 “Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
falling away (Strong’s 646) defection from truth (properly the state (“apostacy” or revolt against one’s religion); falling away, forsake; (same as feminine Strong’s 647) something separative, i.e. divorce, (writing of) divorcement; (from derivative of Strong’s 868) to remove, i.e. instigate to revolt; to desist, desert; fall away, depart; (from Strong’s 575) “off”, i.e. away , and from Strong’s 2476) to stand.
perdition (Strong’s 684) ruin or loss (physically, spiritual or eternal); damnable, destruction, die, perdition, waste; (a presumed derivative of (Strong’s 622) to destroy fully (to perish, or lose), to destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.

That day, the second advent, cannot, will not happen until two things happen. The world is in a state of apostacy, meaning to go totally against your religion. For example, if you are a Christian you then would to opposite and worship not God, but Satan. The second thing is this will happen as the son of perdition, meaning the son in The Word of God named and sentenced to be destroyed fully, who is Satan the devil as in Revelation 20:10, comes to this earth. Then he sits in God’s throne in Jerusalem at the Mount of Olives claiming to be God. Hold on, let the Word of God just flow into your mind, the straight forward truth of it, keeping out your old ideas of men’s traditions and church doctrines, as remember here:

II Thessalonians 2:10 “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
II Thessalonians 2:11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”
II Thessalonians 2:12 “That they all might be damned who believed, not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

If we continue to not receive the love of the truth, that is The Word of God. Then God, will send you strong delusion, or the inability to not to be able to understand His Word, as you are still relying on men’s church doctrines and religious doctrine not founded on His Word. Then let’s get into this here in Hebrews:

Hebrews 9:1 “Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.”
Hebrews 9:2 “For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.”
sanctuary (Strong’s 39) a sacred thing (i.e. spot); holiest (of all), holy place; (neuter of Strong’s 40) sacred (pure, blameless or religious, consecrated); (most holy (one, thing).

The first covenant, or the Old Testament, or what happened before the Lord, Jesus Christ came to this world in the flesh as Son of Man, we then had a glimpse into God’s throne and we can see the symbolism of what it represented. Let’s look at this here, the candlestick, the table and the shewbread. The sanctuary meaning the most holy and sacred, even blameless, meaning without sin or blemish, as Jesus did become this here, as Jesus then became that one time sacrifice, or as we just read in John 3:16, the Passover Lamb:

I Corinthians 5:7 “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:”
I Corinthians 5:8 “Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”
passover (Strong’s 3957) the Passover (the meal, the day, the festival or the special sacrifices connected with it); Easter, Passover; (compare Chaldee Strong’s 6453) a pretermission, i.e. exemption; used only technically of the Jewish Passover (the festival or the victim); Passover (offering); (from Strong’s 6452) to hope, i.e. skip over (or spare); by implication to hesitate; also to limp, to dance, leap, pass over.

His life, the action of loving us all that believe on Him and His Word, given by His will and His wanting to do this for us that love Him! That action then fulfilled the law, one time and forever, for all because in our flesh bodies none of us will ever be without sin. We will all at some time or another miss the mark, or miss the Word of God, failing God, but we can do this in the Name of Jesus Christ, by asking for Heavenly Father’s forgiveness in His Name, Jesus Christ, showing we are believers. The old leaven, symbolic, of sin that we are to keep that out of our lives. Especially here, even more deeply, we are talking about His Word, and men’s traditions, church doctrines, anything that is not of His sincerity and truth, Which is His Word. As here before Jesus:

Exodus 25:30 “And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before Me always.”
Exodus 25:31 “And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.”
Exodus 25:32 “And six branches shall come out of the sides of it: three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:”

God gave us this example or this look into what the throne of God looks like so we would have an understanding of what better One, Jesus Christ, did come and was sacrificed for our sins, once and forever. The shewbread, what is the food we are to eat? The Word of God, as Jesus, remember His Name is the Word of God:

Revelation 19:13 “And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.”

The light is His Word, and here we see the candelabra, or the six branches in total, three going out on each side. Six symbolic of this flesh age, but then HE, Almighty God, His Word of God, became that Passover Lamb, we will see here the pipes have the golden oil, which is the Holy Spirit of God. As remember Christ meaning the Anointed One, we learned the High Priest:

Hebrews 8:1 “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an High Priest, Who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;”

Jesus then is the Word of God as HE fulfilled the Word. There is nobody else that can do this, the reason why we worship Him, alone. Not men’s traditions or religions and church doctrine, but His Word, as God tells you right here:

Matthew 3:16 “And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him:”
Matthew 3:27 “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased.”

Jesus then baptized, and the dove symbolic of the Holy Spirit of God, Heavenly Father. What does LORD God Almighty say here? HE is well-pleased, so if you want to be pleasing to God, listen to His Word, what the Word of God Jesus teaches us, and then His Will is pleased as we just read in Revelation 4:11. Let’s also go here to Zechariah and see an example of God’s throne to get some more information about this here:

Zechariah 4:11 “Then answered I, and said unto him, “What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?”
Zechariah 4:12 “And I answered again, and said unto him, “What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?”
Zechariah 4:13 “And he answered me and said, “Knowest thou not what these be?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
Zechariah 4:14 “Then said he, “These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

The two olive trees, remember trees represent people as in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 2-3, as well as here:

Mark 8:23 “And He took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town;”
Mark 8:24 “And he looked up, and said, “I see men as trees, walking.”
Mark 8:25 “After that He put His hands again upon his eyes, and make him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.”

The Lord Jesus not opening up the man’s flesh eyes, but teaching us here symbolically people are represented in His Word as trees. We have a trunk, spine and so forth, even deeper, as the Word of God made of a tree, or from trees, with a spine and so forth. We can look into what is said here. So then those two olive trees, here representing the two witnesses that will come when Satan is here on earth right before Jesus as in taught in Revelation Chapter 11. Those two witnesses are not teaching out of their own minds, but rather they fill their minds with God’s Holy Spirit, with His Word. Let’s also go here now, so we can see an example of the light or the candlestick in the Word:

Matthew 5:14 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
Matthew 5:15 “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.”
Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Which is in heaven.”

Jesus telling us as believers we believe in HE, Who is the Light of this world. Then our flesh once we then believe in His Word, we are witnesses by our actions, the gifts that HE has blessed us with like prophesying, teaching His Word, encouraging people, smiling, being a good mother or father, or whatever gift HE has blessed you with. We cannot hide that truth then, that Holy Spirit that is within each one of us, which is His Word. Just like a candle, you don’t go put it in a closet, or bringing this up to date. You don’t go turn the closet light on, and then shut the door. There is no purpose in that! No, but rather The Word of God, the Holy Spirit of God that lives within us that believe on His Word, we cannot hide that. We have to be open up to His Will, not our own, to do whatever HE needs us to do. How do we know what to do? We listen to His Word, following the examples that He has laid out over and over again over time, to see as with Jesus HE was successful. What works and what does not, what is pleasing to God and what is not. We have to decide are we people only concerned about this flesh life, or for better things as here:

Matthew 6:19 “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:”
Matthew 6:20 “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break nor steal:”
Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment?”
Matthew 6:26 “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
Matthew 6:27 “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto this stature?”
Matthew 6:28 “And why take ye thought of raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:”
Matthew 6:29 “And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”
Matthew 6:30 “Wherefore, if God so cloth the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven shall He not much more clothe you? O ye of little faith?”

We cannot say we are Christians and then have no or little faith. We have to take action upon that in which we believe, otherwise what do we believe in? We have to know what His Word states so then we know what the Lord Jesus is all about, right? You want to know and understand Who you are following and what you have faith in, right? The most important we read is that way we know when to flee from idolatry, or when something is not in His Word, but is church doctrine or men’s traditions, having the Word of God under our belts. Then here Jesus teaching in Matthew 6, we are to not be concerned about this flesh life. For if you are serving the Lord as best you can, HE will provide. But we have to do the work! We have to take action, just like the animals in nature, like the birds they always have enough food or seed to eat, no barn, or refrigerator nor checkbook that they are so worried about filling up. Then The Lord asks don’t you think God cares even more about you, His son or His daughter that He created for His pleasure as we read in Revelation 4:11? Then about clothing or even things like our vehicle or our homes, the lilies have the most beautiful clothing on them, and they just serve God, be the creation that God made them to do, to grow! Then again, the Lord asks don’t you think that God will provide, as Solomon, a flesh man king, had the best that our flesh money could buy, but even he couldn’t compare to those lilies! All worry does is hurt our health, our minds, as it doesn’t add any stature, or height to us, or help our lives out. But destroys us, so relax, rest in His Word, but remember do your part we have to open up His Word, and really try at understanding His Word as here:

Revelation 10:8 “And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, “Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.”
Revelation 10:9 “And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, “Give me the little book.” And he said unto me, “Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.”
Revelation 10:10 “And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.”
Revelation 10:11 “And he said unto me, “Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and

We don’t all have to become pastors or teachers of The Word, but be ready for God to show you whatever it is that God needs from you. As God’s election, they all again will allow the Holy Spirit of God to speak through them as in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, so we need the information first. We need to know what we just learned in II Thessalonians 2:3-4, that Satan comes first, then Jesus. We have to be ready. Moving along here:

Hebrews 9:3 “And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;”
Hebrews 9:4 “Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;”
Hebrews 9:5 “And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercy seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.”
Hebrews 9:6 “Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.”

Now we are getting to the Holy of Holies, or the Most Sacred part of God’s throne. We will look at these things, the golden censer the ark of the covenant. Where so many movies and the media are always searching for it, when they easily can find where it is today:

Revelation 11:19 “And the Temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His Temple the ark of His testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thundering, and an earthquake, and great hail.”

There is no such thing “as the lost ark” as a popular movie series, but we find it right here in the Word of God. You think God is going to allow people to have something they could not take care of in the first place here on earth? Of course not, and it is as in Revelation 11:19 at the throne of God right in His temple. Let’s go back now and see where God’s Word commanded the first example made before Jesus came in the flesh to this earth, and overcame death, that is the devil as in:

Hebrews 2:14 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;”
Hebrews 2:15 “And deliver them, who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”

If we believe on Him, that is on The Word of God we can be successful. Just as the LORD God had each person come born innocent in this flesh age to see if we select God or Satan, that’s why we are here on earth, as Jesus destroyed the power of death, as by we never will be able to live a perfect life. Only Jesus, that is why again, we pray and come to Heavenly Father in His Name. So then we have hope that faith in His Word, that it is possible, by our faith in Jesus Christ, Who is the Word of God, loving Him, hearing His Word, that we can be successful as well when we repent, or are made fresh or our sins blotted out, not by our actions, but by the blood of Jesus. As here:

Exodus 25:17 “And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.”
Exodus 25:18 “And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shall thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.”
Exodus 25:19 “And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.”
Exodus 26:33 “And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.”
Exodus 26:34 “And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.”

Here the manna God commanded Moses to have at the altar for an example, which today we have an even better Example Who would and did Come Jesus Christ:

Exodus 16:32 “And Moses said, “This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.”

His hidden manna, all in the Word of God. Just like gold on this earth, or anything valuable, we have to dig it out, do the work ourselves as here:

Revelation 2:17 “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.  To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving that he receiveth it.’”

Hear His Words, not my words, or men’s traditions of religion and church doctrines, but the Eternal Word of God! Then here God had this symbol of the altar. With these two man-made cherubims the LORD God commanded Moses to built showing us how God’s throne was with the two archangels protecting or covering His throne. Not with wings, like birds have as we are exactly the same in the spiritual bodies, or the celestial bodies, as we are in the flesh, or the terrestrial bodies, as in I Corinthians 15:40. As here:

Genesis 1:26 “And God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.”

Gabriel, the archangel his name means man of God in the Hebrew language. Then those two archangels protected the mercy seat of the Lord. Then also here:

Exodus 16:33 “And Moses said unto Aaron, “Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.”

Here the rod of Aaron, which the people of Israel all wanted to be in charge, God said as in Numbers 17:

Numbers 17:8 “And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.”

Aaron’s rod not only bloomed but had fruit, or the almonds that grew on it! Why? Because The LORD God knew that HE could trust Moses and Aaron to get His Word of God, the law and the prophets, done on this earth. As His Holy Spirit, His Light, shined out and obeyed, loving the LORD God and listening to Him. Moving along here:

Hebrews 9:7 “But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:”
Hebrews 9:8 “The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the Holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:”
Hebrews 9:9 “Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;”
Hebrews 9:10 “Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.”

Here then in Hebrews 9:7 the second, meaning going into the Holy of Holies, that the high priest, first Aaron, then his sons the Levites according to God’s Word, would wear bells on the bottom of their garment which God commanded them to wear, so the people outside would know if they still were living! It only happened at one time, once a year, here. We will get to that in Exodus 12. Then moving here:

Hebrews 9:11 “But Christ, being come an High Priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;”

Then Jesus remember we over this in Hebrews 8, the High Priest of the MOST HIGH GOD, Melchisedec, King of Righteousness, the meaning:

Hebrews 7:17 “For He testifieth, “Thou art a Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.”
Melchisedec (Strong’s 3198) from Hebrews 4442) (Strong’s 4442) king of right or righteousness.

Hebrews 9:12 “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.”
Hebrews 9:13 “For if the blood of bulls of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:”
Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, Who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
Hebrews 9:15 “And for this cause He is the Mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”
Hebrews 9:16 “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.”
Testator (Strong’s 1303) to put apart, dispose (by assignment, compact or bequest); appoint, make, testator.

That not by as before Jesus came Who is the Word of God in the flesh as Son of Man, or Emmanuel, or God with us:

Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the LORD Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Immanuel (Strong’s 6005) with us (is) God; (from Strong’s 6006) to load, i.e. impose a burden, be borne, (heavy) burden, lade, load, put; and (from Strong’s 3050)Jah, the sacred name: the Lord, most vehement.

God showing us through His Son Jesus Christ the way to eternal life, His Word. Then Jesus entered the holy place of God, for only HE is worthy. Then with His blood, as HE is without spot, or sin. Then Jesus being our Mediator, the One Who stands on the right hand of God as in Psalms 110:1, His rightful throne, on our behalf, both you and I. When we pray to heavenly Father in His Name, God then sees we have faith in His Son Jesus, by coming in His name. Then, His righteous blood, meaning HE died and was brutally crucified willingly for all of us that believe on Him, we can even go into Almighty LORD God directly asking for His mercy always in His Son’s Jesus’ Name. Then that is the new testament, meaning that HE, the Testator, the One in which This Word of God, as it is God’s Will to us all is valid. Just like we all have flesh wills for our families when we die, so does the LORD God, His Word. Jesus then the Testator, or the Person which had to die in the flesh so that we can have even an opportunity to live eternally with Him! Moving along here:

Hebrews 9:17 “For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”
Hebrews 9:18 “Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.”
Hebrews 9:19 “For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the ministry.”

Man’s actions cannot even come close the perfect and just blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, this example here of the LORD God commanding Moses to sprinkle the offerings blood on the book and then on the ministers of God, or the sons of Aaron, as the Word of God commanded before Jesus. Let’s now go here to see here the passover before Jesus became this one time Passover Lamb for all that believe on Him:

Exodus 12:1 “And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,"
Exodus 12:2 “This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.”
Exodus 12:6 “And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.”
Exodus 12:7 “And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.”
Exodus 12:8 “And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.”
Exodus 12:9 “Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.”
Exodus 12:10 “And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remained of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.”
Exodus 12:11 “And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’S passover.

The LORD God spoke to both Moses and Aaron to do this again, an example, of Jesus Who then became the Passover Lamb. According to the solar calendar, so then on the first day of the vernal equinox, this was to be done. As the people were in slavery, just as we are today in the flesh. The LORD God leading them through the wilderness, that same wilderness we will be going through when Satan sits on God’s throne and claims to be God as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. Covering with the blood of the lamb with the blood, and then they were to eat the meat as written roasted, not row or boiled with water. Just like God’s Word, we have the Lord’s blood over our lives, and our homes, our family and friends, when we go to the LORD God in His Name, Jesus Christ. The Word of God to be eaten, or read not watered down, nor without the unction of His Holy Spirit for:

Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a consuming fire.”

There is nothing boring or monotonous about God’s Word. But rather they way churches and religions teach their pastors and leaders to teach for they are teaching men’s traditions, not God’s Word! The Word is exciting, full of life and living within us that love Him and try to do as best we can His Word. Then we need not just parts of the Word of God, not just the New Testament or The Old Testament, or one verse here or there, but the entire thing. As we just read in Revelation 10 we are to go to His Word, ourselves, not some person or church converting us, but willingly. Then read it in full, or east it all up for ourselves, not leaving anything out. Leaving nothing, for even deeper here, when we get to the Lord’s Day, or when Jesus’s feet stand as in Zechariah 14:4 at the Mount of Olives, and we leave something out, we will be deceived by Satan, as he comes first. Just like here in Ephesians, keep our loins girt, be ready to hold our pants up, and be ready and willing to stand up for His Word, with shoes on feet, ready to be moved in the direction that the LORD God wants us to be. With His Staff, again the Word of God, Which guides us to that promised land, when Jesus does return to this earth. Again, this was an example God used in His Word for Jesus, Who became that Passover Lamb, and why in Hebrews 8 we are learning this. Moving along here in Exodus:

Exodus 12:12 “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.”
Exodus 12:13 “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.”
Exodus 12:22 “And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.”
Exodus 12:23 “For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.”
Exodus 12:24 “And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.”
Exodus 12:27 “That ye shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, Who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.’” And the People bowed the head and worshipped.”

Then those of us that listen to His Word, and not like the majority of this world who will end worshipped Satan, having them liable to perish, or to be fully destroyed souls as in Revelation 20:8. That angel of death, Satan, remember he will be here literally as here on earth:

Revelation 12:7 “And there was war in heaven:  Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,”
Revelation 12:8 “And prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.”
Revelation 12:9 “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world, and his angels were cast out with him.”
Devil (Strong’s 1228) a traducer; specific Satan; false accuser, devil, slanderer.
Satan (Strong’s 4567) the accuser, i.e. the devil.

Any lies and deception, and remember as we just read in Luke 4 Jesus teaching us that Satan’s weapon is the Word of God, twisting, and deceiving many as they have not read it or have not been taught with discipline. That Passover Lamb then Jesus Christ, as HE is the Word of God, is the ordinance forever as He is eternal. When Jesus overcame the power of death, or the devil, then that veil was opened up from top to bottom. Showing The LORD God did this by Jesus then overcoming death. Then here:

Matthew 27:51 “And, behold, the veil of the Temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;”
Matthew 27:52 “And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose.”
Matthew 27:53 “And came out of the graves after His resurrection, and sent into the holy city, and appeared unto many.”
Ghost (Strong’s 4151) a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, vital principle, mental disposition, (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit.

On that high Sabbath day, when the high priest went into the tabernacle doing this according to the Word of God, the veil was opened us to everyone, all people, all nations, that believe on His Word. Before Jesus the high priest would go into the Holy of Holies, again with bells for the others outside of the Holy of Holies to know if he lived or not for his and all the people’s sins. Then here we see that those who lived in Jerusalem at that time, for this one time occurrence showing they accepted Jesus Christ and their souls were not perished or liable to perish. When we go to God, our spirit goes to Him, not in the grave as some churches misteach:

Ecclesiastes 12:1 “Remember now the Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw night, when thou shalt say, ‘I have no pleasure in them:’”
Ecclesiastes 12:6 “Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.”
Ecclesiastes 12:7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it.”

We all go directly to the LORD God for His judgment. So if you have loved they are with Him, all people, just like the malefactor on the cross with Jesus that accepted Him, Jesus said today, not after you become a member of some church or religion, I’ll see you in paradise:

Luke 23:43 “And Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise.”

Hebrews 9:19 is quoting from here in:

Exodus 12:24 “And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.”

His Word of God is that promise to us now and forever. Talk with Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as for His forgiveness, going directly to the Father in the Holy of Holies, not through some priest or church, or person, but in the Name of Jesus Christ as HE is there waiting for you. Moving along here:

Hebrews 9:20 “Saying, “This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.”
