By the spoken Word God called forth,
That which was already domiciled in Him;
Into existence came the heavens and the Earth,
Mankind, animals, inanimate and all within!
Prayer creates, recreates, pierces like a sword.
Only when heard and answered by the Father.
Like the Father let us boldly speak the Word;
To the Father we pray and run, not any farther.
‘Cause the Word is in us and near our mouth.
Prayer delivers, restores and changes situation.
Just speak the words by faith, without any doubt;
It breaks curses, heals and causes jubilation.
But before you ask you must be right with Him.
Acknowledge your sin, confess, repent and forsake;
Worship, praise, adore, revere and honor Elohim.
Our hearts and motives define what’s at stake.
Let not your will contravene His Laws.
“As in heaven, your will on earth we will do”.
Being confident the Blood removes your flaws,
Ensure you pray the will of Jehovah So!
He knows your motive before your spoken ‘missive’.
Do not pray amiss so you don’t miss the answer.
Direct your heart well and you will surely receive.
Limit not God and acknowledge His mighty power.
Believe your sins are forgiven, so frustrate the accuser.
Even when heaviness prevents the words from flowing,
Holy Spirit intercedes with groaning, better and purer,
Than yours, unspoken words reaching out, yet floating!
Prayer means asking, seeking and knocking.
Of course the best is asking as it comes first;
Take everything to God in prayer before ever doing.
Never forget the Way, Name and Channel is Jesus Christ.
Fervent prayer need not be routine or regimented;
Decide whether you want it in fellowship or solitary,
There could be a physical altar, a location dedicated;
Better still is the altar of your spirit, soul and body.
Divine dialogue in private is a sacred act.
God rewards openly words sown in secret.
He will not renege or default on His divine pact.
Your covenant of obedience you will not regret.
Word in you enables you to meditate day and night.
Then you pray without ceasing, in and out of season;
Be assured to experience God’s power and might.
Say what you mean; mean what you say with reason.
Your honest vow provokes God’s mercy and favor;
Never default in paying your vow as rightly due.
God loves the world so much He gave the Savior;
He did it for the world even if the chosen are few.
Sometimes require the discipline of fasting even;
Like Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther and other folks of old,
Fasting better known only to God penetrates heaven,
It draws down the favor, power and zeal of God.
Nothing is impossible with God, the 'I AM'.
On Christ Jesus the Rock you are well planted.
If answer tarries, wait for God’s perfect time.
