But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? that is, to bring Christ down from above: Or, Who shall descend into the deep? that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead. But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.Romans 10:6-10;

Are you believing God for something or desiring a change in the situation you find yourself? Your miracle is in your mouth! Your mouth is a vital instrument by which you can create what you desire through the word of faith. Many things are locked up in the womb of the Spirit, only the word of faith in your mouth can bring them forth into existence. One of the great assets God has given to man is his mouth! Unfortunately, many people, rather than engaging their mouths as instruments for positive creations, have elected to do themselves great harms and dig their own graves by way of wrong use of their mouths through negative confessions and utterances. When your mouth is consistently engaged in positive confessions and declarations of words of faith, value is added to your life; on the contrary, every negative confession or utterance a man makes with his mouth, has a way of discounting his destiny!

Before creation, heaven and earth and their contents had already existed in the mind of God. However, for God to accomplish the work of creation in real terms, He needed to speak them into existence. It was at the point God ‘said’ that heaven and earth and all those things which had existed in the womb of eternity came forth and appeared on the scene! Just like God demonstrated at creation, the spoken word remains major force in bringing into existence anything that man desires here on earth in line with the purpose of God. Whatever you believe God for or desire to have, there’s a part you have to play. God made you in His own image and likeness, right inside of you resides great ability and limitless power of God to envision and speak into existence that which you desire by the word of faith. It is therefore your responsibility as a child of God to engage this power and create that which you want by your mouth.

To attest to great significance of confession, the scripture reveals that a man cannot experience salvation unless he confesses with his mouth his acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour. It’s not doubtful that Christ had indeed accomplished the work of salvation of mankind on the cross, but no one can experience salvation without believing and confessing that Jesus is Lord. Without confession, salvation is inaccessible! You can actually believe in your heart everything the scripture says about Christ, but if you fail to declare with your mouth all that you believe in your heart about Him, you cannot receive salvation, notwithstanding that it is a free gift! If salvation is inaccessible without confession of the mouth, it follows therefore that confession and declarations with your mouth remains a great key with which you can release and create what you desire.

There’s no barrier to great things you can plant and harvest if you learn to engage your mouth rightly in speaking the word of faith. Generally speaking, words are seeds which when released must certainly bring back harvests to the person who had sown them. The situation you find yourself today might just be a reflection of the words you or someone else had sown into your life in the past. If you look into your life and find something that is not desirable, it is your responsibility to correct the situation by consistent positive confessions. Positive confession and constant declaration of God’s word remains one major way of turning situations around no matter how terrible they may be. The reason for this is simple: all things (whether visible or invisible) were created by the spoken word and must respond to the spoken word! God does nothing except through His word, and once you know this truth, you will never neglect the power of confession of God’s word.

There is power in the words of your mouth; in fact, your mouth is a trigger which can set in motion either creation or destruction, it all depends on you! Proverbs 18:20-21 says, ‘A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof’. There’s no time your mouth is completely dry; the implication of this is that every word you speak is watered by your mouth, and as it goes forth, fully germinates to bring back to you harvest of its own kind. The words that proceed from your mouth are sown seeds which of course are not exempt from the universal and irrefutable law of harvest: whatever a man sows, he shall also reap! The kind of seed you sow with your lips will determine the kind of harvest that comes back to you - everything must produce after its own kind!

One significant way to express the creative power God placed inside of you is to call forth whatever you desire in your situation. What you see presently around you may be contrary to what you desire, but you must not cease to call forth the desires of your heart by confessing the word of faith at all times. Romans 4: 16-17 says, ‘Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were’. You can create, re-create and re shape your situation as you dedicate your mouth to confessing the words of faith. Look into the scriptures and gather together God’s words and promises which are relevant to your situation, and begin to confess them consistently. As you speak, you grow your faith and assurance in the Lord, also the words so released will divinely cause conception and bring forth what you desire with time! Amen!

From today, you will do yourself a great deal of good by walking in the consciousness that the words which proceed from your mouth are living organisms which possess life and therefore have the ability to reproduce after their own kind. Confessing the word of faith and speaking positively in every situation is important, but this does not mean you will neglect other necessary or practical steps you need to take to actualize your dreams in life. You wouldn’t lose anything by consistently making positive statements and declaring the words of faith upon your life and situations, but you stand to lose everything when you sow negative seeds into your life by unwholesome utterances! It may be very difficult to explain how this operates, but truth is, you have the ability to create and call forth all good things you desire in life by the words of your mouth!
