Is the Greatest Nation Ever Known To Man Not Found In Prophecy?
There is a false teaching that America will be destroyed before the great tribulation because the great minds of today canít find it in bible prophecy. Now Iíve heard this all my life, but it just didnít make sense to me that God would tell us of all the great nations of the world even before they became a nation and not tell us of the greatest nation of them all, and never even mention this nation in the bible. Does that seem reasonable to you? But if you hear something preached long enough even if itís false it began to take on a life of its own, like what I like to call the Christopher Columbus over the edge watch! For many years before our modern time there were all kinds of theories as the form and shape of the earth. One theory, and this is the craziest, most throwed off of them all, was that the world sits on the back of a giant elephant that stands on a giant reptile. Now when the truth was told that the earth was round and had no beginning and no end, they were having none of this round crape, because they knew that they knew what knew and that is that this world is flat because if it wasnít we would sliding off of it. So everybody be sure to keep an eye on Brother Chris because he have been sipping on that Rum to hard and listing to all that wild take of a round earth. Now heís talking about taking boat way out there in that deep water, talking about finding a short to India, now we who are in the know, know that what he is really going to do is sail right off the edge of this here flat earth!
Thatís what seems to be happening in the Christian world today, they have been preached to for so long by so many self-appointed preachers and accepted these wild theories that itís hard for the light of Godís word to penetrate, even after shown the direct utterance of the Lord Himself. Before they accept the written word of Jesus, they will twist to fit some false doctrine that totally contradicts the word of God!
The word of God states that His church would flee to the wildness where she would be in safe keeping from the beast and nurtured for a certain period of time. Now the bible did not come right out and give the name of that wilderness country as the good old Us of A, but He left no doubt that this wildness country is the United States of America. Letís take a look at the scripture verse so I donít left it out of its context:
ďAnd to the woman were given two wings of a Great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half time, from the face of the serpent.Ē [Rev 12:14]
Now letís take this point by point and see can get some light from heaven on this, and see if God really left off mentioning the most powerful country ever known to man. Letís start with identifying this woman of Rev. 12:14.
In scripture religion is usually represented as a woman, a virgin if itís the pure Church of Christ, and a whore or harlot and impure if she was once married to Christ and divorced Him for to wed herself to His enemy Satan, God calls this as going whoring after other gods. So the woman of Rev.12:14 represent the small faithful and obedient Church of Christ. Now this woman [the church] was being persecuted and about to be destroyed.
Now to prevent the destruction of the Church God would separate and put a great distant between the beast and the church as represented by the two wing of a great eagle that flies her into the wilderness, out of the reach of the beast.
Now letís take a look at this most important eagle that comes to the aide of the woman [the church] because this great eagle plays a major role in the protection of virgin church of Christ. As I said before, God did not call this nation the USA; instead He used the symbol that is used to this very day that represents the nation that became the rescuer and protector of this woman, so therefore He actually did name this great nation in bible prophecy! What is the symbol of this great nation of ours? Itís the Bold Eagle! The Great Eagle and the USA are one and the same! Not convinced yet?
Letís take a look at where the woman was taking to by this great eagle to be nurtured. Scripture say that this woman was flown to the wilderness, now this is a very important part of identifying the USA in bible prophecy. The Great Eagle did not take the woman any the worldís great cities like Rome [actually Rome was the city the woman was fleeing from] nor the great Egypt, or Greece, but to its own nest. This nest was out in the wilderness of a newly formed country that was mostly wilderness the in 15th and 16th century.
This eagleís nest out in the wilderness of this newly forming wilderness country is where the Church of Christ grew strong until the times and half time had expired, at which time like a dog returning to its vomit she would reunite with harlot sisters just as we see happening today!
Now who is this serpent that the woman fled from and is now returning to? Non-other the Pope of Rome! Yes, God did mention the greatest nation the world has ever known to mankind, you just need to let God lead you to the answers instead of looking to a bunch of self-appointed preachers!
