JUST FOR THIS DAY
It's all I have
I can't live in memories of the past
Or live for what maybe tomorrow
JUST FOR THIS DAY
I won't let it slip away
I'll make the most of these 24 hours
Each seven hundred and twenty minutes
I'll live them in each moment
I'll make today special
And do what I can do
Those little things that mean the most
The things I didn't take time to do yesterday
I'll smile more
Hold a hand, be gentle
Take time to listen, really listen
I'll speak the words I forgot to say, like...
"I love you!"
And do more to show kindness
I'll go the extra mile
I'll go out of my way
And do the little things I can do and say
To make a difference
In each life I touch
JUST FOR TODAY!
