I went out for a walk so I can speak alone with God. I walked for some time, then sat under a tree on a curve. I poured out my heart to God. I told him how I felt. To show me what he wants me to do. Told him what I wanted in my life. How I still wanted to serve him, but to live more effectively.
He then told me to look down. There was a little plant growing in through a crack in the cement next to my foot. It was the only one. Everything around it was dry. Then God told me, "At times we don't understand when we are placed in some places. Sometimes it may look like you are standing alone, But you are not."
And its very true that God is always there, taking care of us daily.
Then I told God, "why is this Little plant even here on the street?"
Why not? doesn't it stand out?
Than God kept speaking to me and he said, "To show that it doesn't matter where you are placed. Growth is possible with God. The world may not see it but someone will. Just like You did."
After some time after, I got up and went home. But as I walked back, I looked down and stated to notice many more of that same kind of plant scattered all around. I didn't notice before. It reminds me of the people in this world and how we are called to bloom right where we have been planted.
