Many believe that Jesus Christ is the Way to God. Many do not. This article will review this interesting topic.
The Holy Bible teaches that God created everything (Isaiah 44:24; Genesis 1:1). God created earth's first human parents. They were called Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:26-28; Genesis 2:7, 20-24; Acts 17:24, 26). Adam and Eve were the human son and daughter of God. They were perfect and obedient until they both decided to disobey God (Genesis 3:1-24). At that very moment they both became sin and all their children (offspring) would now be born in sin. God is a Holy and Righteous God. Thus sin (disobedience) can not dwell with this Living God. The punishment for sin is death (Genesis 2:15-17; Romans 5:12; Romans 6:23; Isaiah 6:3; Matthew 6:25-34; Deuteronomy 5:26). After Adam and Eve sinned the human race would not have to offer sacrifices to God. These sacrifices were substitutes for their own lives. Often these sacrifices were gifts to God. For thousands of years failure to offer an approved sacrifice to God resulted in his displeasure (Genesis 4:2-14; Genesis 22:1-2, 7-13). Also the souls of sinners couldnot enter righteous heaven and would go into hell at death (Psalm 5:4; Psalm 101:7; Psalm 9:17; Psalm 55:15).
God is a Loving God. God is Love (1 John 4:8). God prepared a righteous "lamb" to be sacrificed one time for all human sinners. That sacrifical "lamb" was Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died for all humans who believe and obey God. They can now enter heaven (God's Holy City) at death because of Jesus' crucifixion on the cross (Genesis 22:7-8; John 1:29, 36; Romans 6:10; 1 Peter 3:18; Matthew 7:10-21; John 3:16; Romans 5:9; Luke 23:43-46; Revelation 2:7; Matthew 27:50-53; John 19:30). The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son Of God (John 3:16), is the Only Way To God, Is God's Word And Truth, And Is Eternal Life For All Who Believe (John 3:16; John 14:4-7; John 1:1).
This is why many people believe that Jesus Christ is the Way To God. They believe that the Holy Spirit is directly written and inspired by God the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) (2 Peter 1:20-21; Acts 5:3, 4). The Holy Bible is God's Written Word to humankind. In the Holy Bible God identifies Jesus Christ as His Only Begotten Son. Many people donot feel that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Thus they donot believe what the Bible says about Jesus. Others believe with a liberal or wavering "faith". These try to minimize the need for Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Bible also says the it was actually Jesus Christ who created everything. He is the Light that you see at Earth's creation. The Bible often gives Jesus the same authority or descriptives that God has. This implies the Jesus Christ is equated with God (Colossians 1:15-18; John 8:12; John 1:1-5; Genesis 1:1-6; John 5:18; John 10:30-33). Read Revelation Chapters 1 through 3. Those 3 chapters regularly equate Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God the Father as One in the Same.
God never gives such revelations to intellectual, carnal (fleshly) or non believing humans (1 Corinthians 1:19, 27; Matthew 11:25). These may have much honor and fame in this world. But unless they pray and ask God for the Holy Spirit to help them, they will perish in hell and not enter Heaven (John 3:1-16; Matthew 7:10-21; Matthew 25:25-44).
Why not ask God the Spirit to teach you the Truth (John 4:24; John 14:26)? Let's say this prayer together: "God you are the Creator of the Universe. Please send your Holy Spirit to show me what the truth really is. Please show me what or who is the Way to your approval and eternal life in Heaven's Paradies (Revelation 2:7). I ask this prayer in your Great Name. Amen". If you have sincerely said that prayer in faith Almighty God will begin to show you whether you should place faith in Jesus Christ or not (John 12:42).
