When i thought of the things that the Lord has promised His servant, i was much affected that even i have failed to perceive them up until now, my wickedness, my faulty nature; it forbids me to stay with you oh Lord!
Whilst i am on earth, not yet there with you, be here with me, did not our Lord pray that you be with us, not that you take us away hastily, but that you be like a shepherd tending his beloved sheep, a father whose love exceeds the child's expectations and comprehension, thou hast not failed, but i.
For long have i cried to thee about the matter, willing that you make me that which you promised to, for so long have i spoken the word, thought of the word, but now make me believe, tell me to and i will believe; make it known unto me that thou art a doer of thy own word, oh great and mighty Lord.
Whilst i am here on earth, stay with me, until that day i'm taken to be only near to thee. Oh what a glorious day that would be, to sit next and right hand to you, praising and glorifying your holy and precious name, giving me the things that only matter to the soul of a being begotten of God, oh Father break my bonds, untie me from this wretch, save my soul from dejection, in you i find solace and comfort.
As i lay down, hear me when i speak, answer me when i call, comfort me when i cry for thy presence, until we meet, Amen.
