In the Name
of the Son
the Father brought all life to be.
All became
complete and one;
all He surveyed in Him was free.
Of all that was,
small and great,
through the Lord we're in His image.
Though from the dust
His love our state;
we were destined to be in it.
And though we fell
He loved us still;
innocent flesh became Adam's raiment.
It would foretell
Promise to fulfill;
He sent that Son as Salvation's Agent.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” ~ John 1:1-5
