Hold my soul,
keep from wrath;
let Your love drive my fears away.
Quick the Spirit,
overtake;
even when my heart will stray.
Turn my heart
with its desires
from all things that are profane.
Turn my heart
toward Your fire,
only delighting in Your name.
Give me hunger
for Your Word;
satiate my quickened spirit.
Grant me unction
to be heard
speaking Truth that all may hear it.
Send me strength from the Light
chase away these mares of night.
Grant me solely visions of You;
even more, let us take flight.
Let the earth
fall away,
as I turn make it ever gray.
Snatch me up,
take Your path;
make the angels to make the way.
