Your 24 Hours
One thing that has been evenly distributed among individuals created by God is time.
Every creature has the same number of hours per day. No cheating. No one can complain that he or she has less than twenty-four hours a day. Nor anyone can boast of having more of it than others.
The President of your country has only twenty-four hours to carry out all presidential, family and personal assignments each day. You also have the same number of hours allocated to you.
Many people have spent their time well that they are now 'movers' and 'shakers' in their societies.
Others had spent theirs so unwisely that they are either in permanent penury or in a state of destitution.
Many are now to spend the rest of their twenty-hours per day behind the bars. They will remain incarcerated for life.
The vital question you need to ask yourself now is 'How do I spend my own twenty-four hours?
A student who will succeed excellently and one that will fail woefully have the same number of hours apiece each day. The difference is in how they each spend their time.
You have the same twenty-four hours in which to do those things that will lead you to Heaven or Hell after your departure from this planet called earth.
The salient question remains: How do you spend your time? Do you spend your time in
'adultery,fornication,uncleanness,lewdness,idolatory (or cultism), sorcery,hatred,contentions,jealousies,outbursts of wrath,selfish ambitions,dissensions,heresies,envy,murders,drunkenness,revelries,and the like.'? Galatia5:19-21
These are acts that the Holy Bible calls 'the works of the flesh' and those who practise such things, without turning away from them, will surely end in hell fire. This was prepared for the devil and his fallen angels, the demons.
It was not prepared for you. That was why God demonstrated His infinite love to you by sending His only begotten Son into the world,to bear your sins.
Then,if you have been engaged in wrong use of your time, say,
'So teach us(me) to number our (my) days
That we(I) may gain a heart of wisdom.' Psalm90:12
You can number your days as well as your hours because these make your days. For you to gain a heart of wisdom. You must accept the wisdom of God into your heart which is Jesus Christ,(Luke 11:49).
Let Him become the Lord of your life by naming, repenting and doing away with all your wrongdoings.
No matter how grave they were or are,He will surely pardone you. He will clean them. You will now begin a new life in Him.
When He shall come again in His Glory, you will go with Him and reign in His Kingdom.
Each day, hour and minute you lived or live without Jesus Christ is a waste.
Spend your twenty-four hours in wisdon,Jesus Christ. Spend them with your friend,Jesus Chris(John.15:14). He is the only one who can be with you wherever you are until the end of your life when He will finally receive you unto Himself,(Matthew28:20).
Spend your time with and in someone who can
*Protect you,Psalm 46:1
*Give you abundance life,John10:10
Stay with Him. Remain in Him and your twenty-four hours a day will not be a waste.
Stay blessed as you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior.
