The Lord Will Fight

When I'm free, on my own,
   there, I have no purpose.
Having me, I'm all alone;
   a Christian on the surface.

Now if my life is not my own,
   He must live it for me.
And though I'm weak, I'm still strong;
   this servant is more than free.

The Lord will fight, keep your peace;
   stand and see His salvation.
Let all fear come to a cease;
   live in His proclamation.

He will go before you
   while He's got your back.
Be still and watch Him be true;
   He is never slack.

Egyptians in front, the sea behind,
    they had reason to lose hope.
They lost sight what Moses said:
   "Let My people go!”

Then he spoke, “Do not be afraid.
    Stand and see His salvation.”
The Sea fell back; dry land instead;
   the Lord did His proclamation.

The Lord will fight, keep your peace;
   stand and see His salvation.
Let all fear come to a cease;
   live in His proclamation.
