Do I care for my son? I believe I do. How do I care?
In giving him before he asks all his needs, shelter, food and clothing. But when he is a child, I'll provide him without recompense. When he is an adult, I'll keep on providing him without recompense. However, when he is in his adulthood seeks to be independent of me, having tasted from the fruit of knowledge, and is seeking for himself a name, he shall not ask but depend on his own will, to provide himself with all necessities.
Not so with God. His Providence is never subjected to time, will or human fancy. It's a resource of unlimited bounty, to all who earnestly seek it.
It is like a well full of abundant water. All we have to do is approach and with thanksgiving, draw out our lot and need. We have to draw out the water, and seek the well.
God does not take pleasure at all in our independence from Him. That is not liberty but separation. I'm to remain always dependent on God's Grace and Divine Will.
He is the Source of Abundance. We are the measure of scarcity. Life is full of potentialities. Every single matter has in itself the potential to be measured and shaped to our desire. We are creators of our destiny. Fate is destiny without a destination. No fulfillment of desire. Rather a life of emptiness in the deepest sense of the word.
Providence is full of the Guiding Spirit, the provider of my needs and desires. As long as I am a humble servant, my master will deal with me in fairness and equitable measure.
He through His Providential Care, clears my obstacles and levels my barriers, so that everything I touch, I behold, I foresee, is mine without limit or recompense.
It's free. I limit my potential, due to ecosystem, ethnicity, physical fitness, class, race, language, vision, ability, and all that my humanity has mapped my territorial boundaries.
I can chose to live within these walls, or believe that I have what it takes, not from an external source, but rather from my internal consciousness, the gift to elevate and transcend my body and my soul.
I accept nothing less than a total surrender to God, to worship Him in spirit and truth, in complete honesty and sincerity, knowing and believing that only through my prostrate nature, I am lifted to the highest realm.
It is again I repeat, not by doing, having or being, that Providence gives, but by the mere act of accepting the giving as free and thanking God for our gifts and sharing them with each other.
None of what we receive is our possession. It's a free gift. Once we in our human instinct, deviate and acquire to keep, that we become enslaved to these possessions, and idolize them as our comfort and security.
There is nothing wrong with private property, or the production of goods and services for a fee, or the winning and losing in our human endeavors.
What is wrong is when we forget truly that these are the source of our blessings, and the saving power of our personal dependencies.
Once we attach a value to anything, it will attach a cost to us. It will exert us to incur these costs, in order to maintain the value assigned. If all things remain at Zero value, we have no cost attached to us. All we need is the One to give these Zeros a value, and to be properly aligned with God's Right, to carry the value into the highest infinite number.
Do all things without doing. Have all things without having. Be all things without being. All these belong to God. If it is, then it is. If not, that it is not. For what Is will always be God, never ending and never changing.
What do you want? Give it up.
What do you have? Give it up.
What do you do? Stop. Give it up.
What are you? Put it down and give it back.
Relieve yourself from Self and all it's sentient being. Nothing will happen without God's knowledge and approval. Giving up and giving all things up, is an act of giving, that in itself, becomes the act of receiving.
An Act of Exchange. Christ is this Act in it's fullness. God according to Christian Scriptures, saw to it that by giving up His Only Begotten Son, He shall receive His Children to the Shelter of the Most High. Christ is the Lamb of God, the Sacrifice, the Ransom, the Rebirth, the Regeneration, the Spiritual Body and Blood in which we are redeemed.
He has exchanged His Life for our life. So let's exchange our lives for His Life, and what a life will it be.
To be a Christian is to become a living example of Him who has been Providence's greatest gift. So can I receive anything from Providence, if I reject the Gift?
I don't believe we can. I will be opposed to God, living a life of my own, for the pursuit of pleasure, and the alleviation of pain, doing within my own will, all things to advance my own agenda, while believing that I'm Right with God, and in doing so, living a life of falsehood, denial and regret.
This is the essence of Christianity. No philosophy and religious dogma. Faith in the cosmic universal plan of the salvation of mankind, and living this faith with hope and charity, and refraining from all evil and works of inequity, on the path of godliness and holiness, manifesting the perfection of our Father, in all our awareness and consciousness, becoming enlightened and liberated from the selfish desires of the flesh, born again, transcendental, spirits in the Kingdom of God.
Providence is like the sun, that shines on all those that are within it's reach. But those that live in darkness, behind walls of worries, imprisoned within the Self, locked into a trap, blocked by barriers of human creations, cannot see the sun and be in the light.
Only those that are in the Light can see the sun, receives its warmth and energy. The switch to turn that light on is Christ. As long as we believe in Him, the switch will always be on, and we will live in the Light, receiving the bliss of a Benevolent Providence, shaping our work, job, health, family, business, and all of our universe, whatever these are, into an abundance of true joy and successful earthly life.
For God does not separate between our earthly needs and desires and our spiritual life. As long as we have God, the One and the Only, all the Zeros will be added to His Right. All Things are Zeros, ending when Matter ends, but as long as they continue to be part of our humanity, we are to be accommodated our necessities to best serve our spiritual journey into Eternal Life.
