I am sent to come with a message for you,
From a knowing heart and a love so true.
He sees your heartache and feels your pain.
He sends forth His grace like a summer’s rain.
I know you feel as if nothing can help,
You’re at such a loss you can’t find yourself.
I’ll tell you of my life and so you might feel,
Miracles do happen and you can be healed.
I came from a place, it must have been hell.
Seems like everywhere I lived, Satan dwelled.
What I didn’t know was God was there too,
He was the one to carry me through.
I know how it feels to be where you are now.
Lost and confused and not knowing how,
To face tomorrow or even today.
So I went to my knees and began to pray.
I poured out my heart and confessed my sins.
I pled for forgiveness and the strength to begin,
My journey with the Miracle Worker on High.
“Please help me Dear Jesus, I’m dying,” I cried.
He saved my life and showed me the truth.
What took me so long to make this walk to
This wondrous Savior for all those who live?
I thought my sins He could never forgive.
Please come with me to altar to pray,
For His mercy and guidance to show you the way.
The exit from Hell is a path cleared by Christ.
Just open the door and follow His light.
At once you will breathe in a feeling of peace.
You heart will rest, your mind will ease.
Just give Him your burdens and behold His sight,
I am sent to come with this message tonight.

What a wonderful testimony to the saving power of our God. Beautifully written too. Many heartfelt thanks for the lovely words of encouragement that you left on both copies of my poem. It really means a lot to me. Love Deb x
Reading through again I found myself rapping for the first time in my life. This would make an excellent outreach peace for the younger crowd if performed by a rap artist.
1 Corinthians 9:22
To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some.
