Being a Christian ain't just about being cute.
Here's the main thing ... do we possess that fruit?
The fruit of love, joy, and peace
Carrying the gospel on our own two feet.
Love makes us go the extra mile,
Joy's helping us to keep a smile.
Trusting God and learning to wait;
These are the fruit of peace and faith!
Controlling our temper and attitude;
Going 'bout God's business when we're not in the mood.
We don't mind suffering, but not for too long;
It's the fruit of longsuffering that makes us strong!
Meekness and humility acts as a norm,
Till the forceful wind comes into the storm!
Being calm and patient is hard, when everything's out of place;
We must remind ourselves we are under God's grace!
The fruit of goodness, always taken for granted.
Praise God, despite, for the seed that was planted!
Don't get ignorant, you also must live;
Be wise, prayerful, and frugal about what you give!
Gentleness is being kind, reaching a person in need;
Gentleness is the fertilizer for the seed!
Fresh fruit, from the seed, will surely grow;
A Christian example, now, can fully show!
Our fruit must be juicy and healthy to eat;
May our fruit be appealing to those we meet!
Fruit is not spelled with the letter S,
Cause they all come together and work well in our test!
