Again…
You come with all your
magnificent glory and shine.
My heart is beating fast
with excitement,
I’ve awaited your return
all year long.
Amongst all the scurry
of my everyday life.
I’m so glad you return,
it gives me a hope and joy
of something to look
forward to at the end.
To see your shining smile
on the rolling sands
and your fresh, salty
aroma on my face once again.
I can feel the sea splashing against my feet.
